Rammer Jammer Yellowhammer, what the heck Alabama
Adam is joined once again by Rachel Mansilla this week. On the local level they discuss proposed constitutional amendments that would fund private and charter schools with public dollars before expounding on the joys of participatory democracy and the energy that comes with participating in rallies at the Capitol. After that it's all about Alabama: the recent IVF ruling, the potential loss of a dozen rural hospitals due to the medicaid coverage gap, and the lack of access to prenatal and maternal care in the state after the Dobbs decision.

Overtime for the underaged
This week Adam is joined by college friend and fellow candidate, Lauren Hines. Locally they dive into House Bill 255 which lowers protections for minors who are both working and attending school before covering Senate Bill 6 and measures to eliminate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts in Kentucky schools. Beyond Kentucky, Adam covers the recent fraud verdict against Donald Trump in New York and makes a personal plea of connection and understanding to Trump voters. Finally, we wrap up with Lauren covering the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and the tumultuous future of Eurasia given the conflicts and uncertainty surrounding Russia. Rachel Mansilla joins Adam again this week to highlight issues and stories both inside and outside the Bluegrass.
