During Konektiv Night IV at Venuše ve Švehlovce, Czech composer and musician Ian Mikyska and Mongolian duo Dunjingarav moved between poles of traditional Mongolian music and minimalistic yet bold contemporary improvisation in moments of breathtaking poignancy and radical stillness. These two artists are selected by Ewelina Vlček-Chiu and Pavel Kraus and always consist of a Czech artist and a foreign one living in the Czech Republic. Founded in 2018 by Pavel Kraus, Konektiv is an initiative that shows that our strengths like in collaboration rather than division. Last year, Konektiv Night took place in Alfred ve Dvore in Prague and Hradec Králové in Divadlo Drak. This is a short post-Konekitv Night chat with one of 2022's duos: Czech harpist Mariana Jouzova and Omar el Sadek, a multidisciplinary and audiovisual Egyptian artist specializing in electronic music production.
