Epi. 17 | Anchored
In this episode, I share a moment from a dive when I surfaced in the middle of a storm and realized our boat had drifted away. That experience became a powerful reminder of how easily we can feel lost in life’s storms if we’re not anchored. I reflect on how our hope in Jesus Christ is the anchor for our souls—firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19). Through this story and scripture, I encourage believers to remain anchored in Christ, trusting that no matter how strong the storm becomes, His promises will always hold.

Epi. 16 | Ride Yo Wave | Audio Journal
In this episode, I reflect on how surfing reminded me to fully commit to the wave in front of me—just like we must commit to the calling on our lives. I share how learning to fall, get back on the board, rest, and ride again mirrors our walk of faith. I highlight the connection with the ocean, illustrating how understanding the waves can symbolize the ebbs and flows of life. This is an encouragement to lean into your wave, trust God’s timing, and keep moving toward your destiny

Epi. 15 | Lessons from a Flat Tire Part 2 | Audio Journal
In this follow up episode, I reflect on the lessons that can be found in unexpected inconveniences. I share what it means to choose gratitude over panic. I talk about calling on both my earthly and Heavenly Father in times of trouble, focusing on what we can control instead of what we can’t, and finding joy even in challenges. This conversation explores protection in the midst of distraction, the value of family support, and how past lessons prepare us for present tests.

Epi. 14 | Lessons from a Flat Tire Part 1 | Audio Journal
In this reflective episode, I share a personal experience of getting a flat tire and how the Lord used that moment—and my father—to teach me a deeper lesson about faith. What felt like an inconvenience became a divine appointment. Through that situation, God showed me the importance of receiving His correction, trusting His protection, and recognizing His provision, even when things don’t go as planned.

Epi. 13 | Hair Today, New Tomorrow
In this episode, I share my transformative hair journey and how the Lord used it to change the way I see myself. For a long time, my identity and sense of beauty were tied to my dreadlocks—the length of my hair, whether I wore earrings, and how others perceived me. I open up about the cultural expectations of beauty, the struggle of maintaining my hair, and the deeply spiritual decision to shave my head. Through that process, God gently showed me how He sees me—unadorned, from the heart—and reminded me that my true beauty doesn’t come from outward appearance, but from His light living inside of me. This journey led me to deeper self-acceptance, freedom, and a renewed understanding of my identity and faith.

Epi. 12 | The Spiritual Warfare of Food
In this episode, I share my journey with overeating, gluttony, and the spiritual warfare tied to food—how I once equated my weight with my worth and unknowingly allowed food to become a stronghold in my life. I speak candidly about gluttony as a subtle but dangerous sin, the way cravings can mask deeper wounds, and why willpower alone is not enough. True freedom came when I invited God into my eating habits and allowed the Holy Spirit to expose and break these strongholds. This episode carries urgency because healing—physical and spiritual—begins when we surrender, fast, discern the difference between hunger and craving, and honor our bodies as God’s temple. This journey ultimately led to the creation of the Temple Cleanse Program, designed to help others reset their relationship with food, understand proper nutrition, and honor their bodies as God’s temple. This episode is a reminder that taking care of our bodies is not vanity—it’s worship.ResourcesBreaking the Stronghold of Food: Conquering Food AddictionDo You Struggle With Gluttony? Watch This!

Epi. 11 | The "R" Word
In this episode, I talk about the significance of repentance in light of Christ’s return and share a very personal shift that God worked in my heart. As a believer, I’ll be honest—I was once offended by the “R” word. I was reluctant to share the gospel fully because I was afraid of offending people or pushing them away. But the Lord gently stepped in and showed me what repentance truly means, not as condemnation, but as an invitation to turn back to Him. Through personal experiences, revelation, and scripture, I reflect on why repentance is essential to the Christian faith and why it matters now more than ever as we prepare for Jesus’ return. This episode is an encouragement to examine our hearts, live in alignment with our faith, and boldly share the gospel with love, truth, and humility.

Epi. 10 | God will use….Coconuts
In this episode of Kristal Ocean Speaks, I reflect on the spiritual lessons God taught me through something as simple as a coconut. This episode introduces my “God Will Use a ….” series, where I explore how God speaks through ordinary, everyday experiences. Through a personal story about seeking fresh coconut water, I share lessons on patience, waiting on God’s timing, resisting quick fixes, and trusting the process. I draw parallels between the effort required to access every part of the coconut and the spiritual work it takes to grow in faith, reminding us that God wastes nothing and that every season—and every lesson—has purpose.

Epi. 09 | Lord of All | Audio Journal
In this episode of Kristal Ocean Speaks, I reflect on the universal love of God and the call to share the gospel with everyone—no matter their background or past sins. I openly share a moment when I found myself judging someone, and how God gently but firmly reminded me that He is a God of all people, without exception. Through scripture and personal reflection, I talk about the dangers of self-righteousness within the Christian community and the importance of extending grace, compassion, and understanding. This episode is a reminder that God’s love is inclusive, transformative, and meant to be shared with humility and love.

Epi. 007 | Homing
In this episode, I explore the concept of “homing” through the lens of animal behavior, focusing on sea turtles and their incredible ability to return to their birthplace. I draw parallels between this natural phenomenon and our own spiritual journeys, using the story of the Prodigal Son to highlight themes of grace, forgiveness, and the deep, God-given desire to return home. I reflect on God’s mercy and the internal guidance system He places within each of us—one that continually nudges us back to Him.

Audio Journal 01 | The Currency of Stored Potential
In this first Audio Journal episode, I share a deeply personal recording from one of my lowest moments—an entry I later realized could encourage someone else. While walking through a difficult season, I was reading Atomic Habits by James Clear, and the Lord used both my weakness and that book to remind me that He hasn’t forgotten me. In this moment, God showed me that the quiet work I’ve been doing—my obedience, trust, and faith—is not wasted but stored potential, growing in value until His perfect timing.
