Kúmbale is a German-based independent music platform. The two musicians in charge are DJ and Producer René Gamez aka Skruper Sounds / SSDSS (Mexico /Global Bass Berlin) and Pocho Gonzalez aka DJ Gonzalez (Electropical Munich). „Our mission is to serve as an underground runway between Latin America and Europe. We want to spread our friends' and colleagues' creations. That means we want to support our more established colleagues entering Germany, and offer maximum promotion to the newcomers,” says DJ Gonzalez. What started as a pun – “Cumbia Mapalé = Kumbale” – evolved into a sound system that is right now focusing on publishing compilations. It aims at broadening its activities, starting with music including more forms of latin and “sudaka” arts as a cultural movement. Why? Because we love what is going on at home in our countries and we don't want the party to stop. This is an open invitation to all Djs, Djanes, producers, musicians and bloggers to walk this path together with us. When
