Ruffas Chauke better known by his stage name as Lane The Greatest is the South African rapper,spoken word and cake artist born in Giyani.He started rapping at an early age.He used to recite poems at church and that's how his burning desire for music developed.In 2013 he formed a band with Prince Red and Yoing Timbo and on that year they released a song called "I mean it" which became a hit of that year and it was followed by more singles like "Destiny,Just wanna know". With the band they released an album in 2015 called " Love and Ambitionz" which has gained a lot of exposureIn 2016 he decided to be a solo artist and in that year on the 3rd of October he released his first single called "Suka ndleleni".
