UNDER PRESSURE (freestyle)
I'M NOT OK YET, BUT I WILL BE is the quiet continuation of my previous album SOUND OF SHADOWS— a record born from the same storm, now told from its fading edges. Where SOUND OF SHADOWS lived inside the depths of painful darkness and depression, this project exists in the fragile aftermath: walking through what remains, naming the damage, and searching for small, stubborn traces of light. These songs don’t resolve the pain —rather, they sit with it, breathe through it, and move forward anyway. This is the sound of survival becoming intention, of uncertainty learning how to hope, of standing in the in-between and choosing to keep going. - Lexx Black
