I don't know that any part of my life has gone as planned. I've always been a dreamer, imagining what the future holds. And I've always been wrong.  But I've dealt with it. This is part 2 of our love story, starting from the engagement. Was our dating and marriage was a sign of things to come? I think so. It's been a rollercoaster since the day we tied the knot.  I thought about why I wanted to tell this story and I think it is becuase it means so much to me. It started with a long car ride to Lake Powell and proceeded through a round of pretzels, a dance, and a disastrous trip to Bear Lake. There are a few lakes in this story. This month is not only the month of Valentines lovelies but also my 14-year wedding anniversary with my best friend and partner in crime (life crime? chaos crime?), Scott Comte. Our relationship started out as friendship and we had no idea it would lead to more. But we are very happy it did. In this episode I talk about my journey through yoga, why I love it, and how it pulls me closer to Jesus Christ. I talk theology of yoga and how it relates to the theology of my church. I find so much beauty in all that yoga has to offer, especially in its ability to help the practitioner overcome the physical body to access the spiritual. I have had beautiful spiritual moments with my Heavenly Father after a good practice, and I have learned more about what I believe through my limited study of yoga philosophy.
