Episode 43: Phelps, Fans, and Faith
When I think of quality game calls, I do not think of diagrams named after has-been riverboat gamblers....No, when I think of quality game calls, I think of none other than Jason Phelps and Phelps Game Calls. Episode 43 is far more than just game calls, though. In fact, Jason and I spend more time sharing thoughts about the lush fragrance of western Washington's springtime nasal indulgences, turkey hunting thoughts, and living a life through masculine faith. This episode is duly titled "Phelps, Fans, and Faith. This episode is a must listen for those with the springtime itch associated with chasing Ben Franklin Bombers and living life with a Christ-like mindset as a man.Don't just listen. Episode 40: "Stand Firm & Act Like Men" with Joby Martin
What does it mean to be a "man" in this modern day? Is it physical strength? Tattoos or how many guns you own? Is it your perceived status by the vehicle you drive or the career you hold?Joby Martin, founder of the Church of Eleven22, author, spiritual leader, and avid outdoorsman, shares with us how God designed and intended us to act like men, and what masculinity looks like through Christianity and the "truths" of the New Testament. One of the big take-aways for me, was having Joby delineate the difference between isolation and solitude. A big learning lesson for me in communicating the difference between the two in my past, and where I stand today. In true LIMBITLESS fashion, we most certainly fall into the rabbit hole of hunting, and share our opinions regarding crossbows in archery season. If you like to read, I encourage you to add two of his current books, "Run Over By The Grace Train" and "Stand Firm & Act Like Men" to your reading list. Join me for the next 77 minutes as Joby Martin enlightens us on what it truly means to stand firm and like a man.Be LIMBITLESS. Episode 38 of the LIMBITLESS Podcast is about HHA USA Mission 38! If you're a 70's or 80"s kid, you might say this episode is 38 Special. LOLOne of my best friends, and non-profit business partner, Michael Sims, and I recorded this event recap while sitting in the Madison, WI airport after spending several days of archery, fellowship and supporting the HHA USA Mission 38 event. We cannot say enough great things about the events hosted by HHA USA, the impact the organization has on veterans, and changes to the organizations mission and direction. If you're looking for a fun-filled 3D archery event to attend, you really should check out HHA USA's schedule and plan a trip to Wisconsin. Episode 37: Brad Brooks - Argali Outdoors
Episode 37: Brad Brooks - Owner of Argali Outdoors.Argali Outdoors is one of my favorite companies in the outdoor industry. Since being introduced to the brand in 2022, I have relied on Argali shelters ever since. Additionally, the men and women behind the scenes are avid wilderness adventurers and we share similar passions. This is one of the shortest recordings the LIMBITLESS Podcast has produced to date. The episode is limited in length only due to time restraints by the host and guest. Had we been left unrestrained, this content and interaction could have gone on for hours.Brad and I originally intended to focus on backcountry turkey hunting, but we fell prey to a few topical distractions along the way. Two of the topics being shelters and sleeping bags (of course). We both agreed a future recording is a must!Be LIMBITLESSBe FAITHFULMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 34: Bob Barteck - Firefighter. Backcountry Hunter. Man of Faith
Episode 34 is filled with several shared interests. The show hosted Bob Barteck, hailing from the State of Wisconsin. Bob is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic, avid backcountry hunter, and a passionate man of faith. When I hit the record button the morning or our recording, I had only one concern, "How long will this episode end up being?" I knew the two of us could potentially sit and talk for hours.Whether you currently are, have been, are inspiring to be in the fire service, or merely out of curiosity, you are introduced to a snap-shot of Bob's incredible career as Firefighter/Paramedic and Fire Chief. This episode covers serving mankind, mental and physical fitness, hunting and serving God. More importantly, how they all tie together. Waypoint Episode: Code Word: "Sesame Street"
It is turkey season, and one of my favorite times of the year. Turkey hunting, more specifically backcountry turkey hunting, is rapidly rising to the top of list of my favorite things to do.In this Waypoint, I wanted to share a fond memory and the reasoning behind the title, "Code Word: "Sesame Street".In celebration of the topic, I decided to share a few pages from my recently published book, Back - Country Hunting: Pursuing the Trophy of the "Experience". Listen in (the video version is a fowl setting to observe) as I read from one of the final chapters of the book, "Backcountry Ben Franklin Bombers". The final pages of the chapter reveal the meaning and purpose of the code word: Sesame Street.I hope you enjoy this episode and the reading from my book. The book is available on Amazon (hardback, paperback, and ebook). Signed copies are available for order on my website, www.limbitlessoutdoors.com.Gobble. Episode 33: Phil Kepple and 4 Arrows Outdoors
This episode is powerful! Please welcome Phil Kepple, owner of 4 Arrows Outdoors to the LIMBITLESS Podcast. I met Phil Kepple at the Archery Trade Association show in 2022 and we have become great friends and brothers in Christ. The first half of this episode is about how we met, Phil's life and family and his archery shop, 4 Arrows Outdoors. It is my pleasure as a podcast host to share the opportunity to promote Phil's positive impact on the archery community through his pro shop and faith. The second half of the show is an incredible journey into the application of faith in the outdoors, and the A3G Initiative. Many questions will be asked during the back half of this episode. How many times is the word "wilderness" mentioned in the Bible? How important is one arrow a day? How does one arrow a day reflect one scripture a day? Are you as prepared in your faith as your in your backcountry endeavors? Does the LIMB-itless question, "Are you a hunter, or do you like to hunt?" transition to your spirit by asking, "Are you going to heaven, or do you think you're going to heaven?"This is one of my favorite episodes to date, and I pray it "Hits you where you live" (one of my favorite Petra songs)!Be LIMBITLESS - Be FAITHFULMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 32: Sam Westfall and the Valor Archery Challenge
The sport of archery, bowhunting, and venturing into the wilderness has become a popular form of therapy, especially for veterans of the military and the first responder community.Focusing on the topic of archery, modern studies have validated the therapeutic benefits of the stick and string in relation to the mind and body. I personally have found great improvements in mental health, and my passion for archery hunting motivates me to achieve improved levels of physical fitness. From a 3-D archery standpoint, non-competitive courses and events have begun to pop-up all over the nation. Some attempting to simulate the rigors of mountainous and backcountry environments. Other organizations are leveraging 3-D archery events to benefit specific communities. This episode hosts one of the individuals focusing on the veteran community through his newly established non-profit, the Valor Archery Challenge. Tune in as we spend the next hour with Sam Westfall, founder and owner of Valor Archery Challage. Episode 30: Kevin Guillen and Wilderness Athlete
Outdoor and athletic nutrition has become one of the fastest growing and saturated markets in the "anything sports-related" world. Running, bodybuilding, functional fitness, cycling, hunting... The list goes on and on.I remember back in the 90's, while stationed in Naples, Italy as a young US Navy sailor, I spent half a months pay on the Cybergenics Muscle-building stack. At $140 a cycle, it was a costly attempt at adding 10-15 pounds to my lean body mass. Next in line was Ultimate Orange. Many of us used to slam a dose of Ultimate Orange before semi-annual PT tests or prior to lining up before an adventurous Friday morning command PT session.Fast forward a few years to a few decades later. So many brands come to mind focused on marketing energy bars, gels, hydration mixes and protein powders. As I have matured and aged, I have grown to realize the necessity of quality nutrition products in my training process and what's loaded in my backpack. With all that said, I have been looking forward to recording this episode for quite some time. LIMBITLESS welcomes Kevin Guillen, from Wilderness Athlete. Kevin is more than an accomplished outdoorsman. Kevin leads the team at one of the oldest and industry-leading nutrition companies in the hunting industry.Put down your coffee, grab your favorite hydration mix (hopefully a dose of Hydrate & Recover) and tune in for 75 minutes of solid nutritional information for your hunting and fitness endeavors.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

More importantly, you will gain some knowledge and insight regarding the Colorado Bowhunters Association, upcoming changes to non-resident Colorado archery elk tags, and how organized archers are able to influence policy at the state level. This episode is both educational and entertaining.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 27: Fish or Die Bait Company
Fish or Die, founded on the premise of our nations forefathers and their "Join or Die" mentality and love of fishing (even they knew better than to eat large mouth bass).Founder and CEO of "Fish or Die Bait Company", Taylor Magditch, is a veteran, LEO and proud resident of Pennsylvania. With a passion for pursuing small mouth bass and quality soft-plastic baits, Taylor embarked on the journey of producing his own baits.I met Taylor in the fishing hall at the 2024 NRA: Great American Outdoor Show. It was his company name and logo which first caught my attention. Closer look, his bait presentation sealed the deal and I "took the bait". LOLWith creative names netted in historical creativity and satire, you will not be disappointed with Taylor's high-quality, American made soft plastics.Check them out at www.fishordiebaitcompany.com or TackleWarehouse. Episode 26: Making Holsters Great Again with Venandi Holsters
Episode 26: Making Holsters Great Again with Venandi Holsters has been named after #47, releasd on the day of his election announcement and in celebration of another 4 years of our right as Americans to own and bear arms. This recording is all about Venandi Holsters, weapon retainment and of course several rabbit holes. I connected with Brian early in his custom retainment selling days, and we swiftly became friendly with each other. Both fans of Badlands gear, and HUGE proponents of bino-harnesses and carrying side arms ON said harnesses, we started a journey of friendship, mutual promotion, and my selfish enjoyment and pleasure of rocking his product on nearly all of my outdoor adventures. If you are in search of high-quality, very affordable retainment option for your sidearm, Venandi Holsters is the retainment option of choice. If you are local to the Salt Lake City, Utah area (or passing through), swing by the Venandi store front. Episode 25: Backcountry Banter with Colby Tee
As listeners, you might not realize it, but I will jump at a chance to discuss backcountry hunting at a moments notice. Especially when it is with another party who is as passionate about the endeavor as I am.With that said, Episode 25 host's a buddy of mine currently out of Virgnia Beach, Virginia, who experienced his first backcountry hunt this past September (circa 2024). Not a stranger to challenge or discomfort, Colby jumped at the opportunity for his first extended trip into the wilds of Wyoming, and Mother Nature set her hooks in him. We chat about how we met, fall down a Total Archery Challenge rabbit hole, ramble on about some mutual friendships, weave in and out of his Wyoming adventure and deeply discuss the realm of hard things while being "alone".Hope you enjoy this episode, because I will certainly have Colby join the show again in the future.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 24: Aaron Adams of GAS Bowstrings
What starts with two A's and loves archery? Aaron Adams and the LIMBITLESS Podcast host, Aaron Ritter! Yes, this episode is a bit "A A Ron" heavy, but I assure you it is well worth your time.I met Aaron Adams at the GAS Bowstrings facility in Clay City, Kentucky this past summer while hosting the 2024 A3G Initiative recipient, Dustin Pruett. Aaron is part of the GAS team (more like a family) and a humble professional. While we were face to face, we both agreed we wanted to rip a podcast session together.A couple months, here we are! This episode covers multiple topics, including the A3G Initiative event, Aaron's archery background, velvet bucks, the constant battle with deer ticks, and hunting in general.Enjoy!!!Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 23: Derek Craig - Doing Hard S#*T!!!
Episode 23 has been a work in progress for nearly a year. Derek Craig, founder and owner of New Day Outdoors, and I have been trying TO overlap our calendars since we last saw each other at the 2024 Archery Trade Association (ATA) last January.Between work, family, turkey hunting, show season and a myriad of other outside influences, we have been unsuccessful in sitting down with microphones in our faces until this recent recording. We could not have asked for better timing, though!!!This episode dives into our shared love of Hot Shot Archery and some great release discussion, we talk about the ATA, we discuss my potential career change of direction. But most importantly, you as listeners will listen to Derek share his most recent, and one of his most memorable, archery whitetail hunts.Derek has spent his hunting life pursuing turkey and whitetail on private flatlands. This season he shed his layers of comfort and tackled some hill country public ground, completely breaking his own mold and jumping into a new world of pursuing game.Listening to Derek share his story, listeners will not just hear, but feel his excitement. Hopefully listening to Derek will inspire others to break out of their comfort zones and do something abnormal. Out of routine. An unknown.Hopefully this episode will push someone to do hard shit!Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Waypoint: Travel Cooler Comparison
Grab a cold beverage, chill out and give this short Waypoint episode a listen.I execute a fair amount of travel in pursuit of big game nationwide. Caring for and transporting game is not cheap and should never be an after thought. In my opinion, post-harvest requirements should be given as much attention and planning as any other aspect of the hunt.Soft-sided coolers are an excellent for transport part or if not all (depending on species) of your game and trophy. Having used several brands, I have become a big fan of Half Rack soft-sided coolers.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 21: Mountain Hunter Outdoors
How many listeners enjoy hunting in wet boots? How many of you would like a lightweight, packable boot-drying option? If you answered no, followed by a yes, then this is an episode you need to listen to!The motivation and ingenuity hardcore hunters bring to the market is impressive. Case in point, Mountain Hunter Outdoors. Founder and owner, Chad Gustavson, is one of those hardcore outdoor enthusiasts contributing to the industry. Chad has designed not just one packable boot-drying option for the backcountRy or mobile hunter, but TWO! He has just released his second, ultralight version of his packable boot drying fans and my first impression is very positive.Prior to recording this episode, I ran the boot dryer on my Dark Energy Poseidon Pro for 29 hours straight, on a single charge. Pretty impressive! How will they perform in the wild? I will let you know after I return from my Idaho archery elk hunt (more to follow).Chad and I dive into several outdoor topics and I look forward another recording session with Mountain Hunter Outdoors.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Waypoint: My 2024 Backcountry Tree Saddle Setup
How mobile is your mobile hunting game? How and where do you deploy your tree saddle setup? This Waypoint episode provides detailed information on my backcountry tree saddle setup for the 2024-25 big game season. Subtle changes were made from last year's backcountry rig, primarily with my saddle of choice. This year, the Latitude Outdoors Maverick will be joining me on my wilderness adventures and this Waypoint provides greater detail on the "why", compared to last week's Waypoint which was specifically about my first impressions of the Maverick. Also for this year, I have modified my Bullman Platform ring of steps and I am switching from my tried and trusted Crispi Thor II boots to Crispi Altitudes. This Waypoint will be better viewed on YouTube as you will SEE all of the gear I talk about rather than just listen.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Waypoint: Latitude Outdoors Maverick Saddle
Latitude Outdoors continuous to push the envelope of mobile hunting performance. This year, that standard has been elevated to new levels with several new products. This Waypoint episode is focused on the Maverick single-panel saddle.Yes, LIMB-itless Outdoors will be taking a brake from his trusted Method II saddle, and spend the season suspended over big game animals in the newly released Maverick. From Idaho archery elk to the whitetail woods of the eastern seaboard, tags will be filled from the most lightest and most comfortable single-panel saddle to hit the market.I agree, proof is in the hours of extended performance, but my initial testing and time in this saddle is more than positive and I encourage anyone looking to upgrade in 2024 to give this saddle a run for its (very worth the) money.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Hunt Series: Non-Resident Archery Elk - Part 6 of 7
Part 6 of 7 brings a new twist to this hunt series...Chris Dunlap is no longer able to make the hunt. LIMB-itless Outdoors is off to Idaho for a backcountry hunt with his cousin Michael, who is also an up and coming videographer and film producer. The result has changed some travel plans, how and where meat will be processed and transported, and how the elk will be engaged with. Not the adjustments desired, but just like adjusting thermals or prevailing winds, we shift on the fly and make things happen.Michael has been hammering three different Phelp's cow calls and I have been conversing with the young camera man about setups and how or when to call. This will be Michael's first elk hunt and backcountry adventure.During this episode, I recap a few pieces of new gear I am taking into the backcountry this season. YouTuber's will visually see most of the gear as I share them during the video. No matter how you cut this pie (I dislike cake), we are going to come out the wilderness with some incredible memories. This episode has been long overdue. My connection with Robin Parks and Hot Shot Archery began via email and their generous support of my 501(c)(3) the A3G Initiative. Just shy of a year after we began communicating via email, we found ourselves in an elevator, unbeknownst to each other, at the Archery Trade Association show. The interaction has continued to grow.Robin shares some background on Hot Shot Archery, we discuss the different options offered by Hot Shot and we dive into the apprehensions I have in making the switch from a caliper-style wrist release to a hand-held thumb button. Robin is an accomplished archer, a wealth of knowledge regarding quality bow releases, and an absolute pleasure to converse with. I hope you all enjoy listening to this episode half as much as I enjoyed recording it.Thank you Robin for your time, and...Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Unlike other shows or presenters, we look at e-scouting for more than topo lines, slope angle and direction and certain terrain features. We use e-scouting in every aspect of our hunt planning. Travel, emergency action planning, meat care, food stops and more...Join in for a deep dive on how you can capitalize on the depth of e-scouting overlooked by the majority of other hunters.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Episode 13: Nick the Great Goes East Coast
Nick the Great visits LIMB-itless Outdoors proper and spends 5 days enjoying a liberating vacation over the 4th of July holiday. Amongst the many activities experienced during the visit, Nick was introduced to the world of the eastern whitetail, more specifically "mock scrape-ology".Nick has some experience pursing blacktail deer and roosevelt elk, he has yet to experience the thrill of chasing whitetail. The two compadres loaded the side-by-by and headed out to a spot where a mock scrape, more specifically a scrape rope, was needing to be established, hang a new camera and locate a spot for a ground blind. The humidity was as high as the spirits, and we certainly fall down a few rabbit holes while "pawing" at the topic of mock scrapes. As always, the banter with Nick the Great is witty and entertaining. Tune in and enjoy the lawn chair laughter as we share our friendship and the outdoors with all of you...Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Hunt Series: 2024 Virginia Backcountry Turkey - Part 2 of 3
Some turkey hunts strike the friction call a bit raspier than others...This Hunt Series wraps up the 2024 Virginia turkey season with East Coast Nick and LIMB-itless Outdoors packed into what they refer to as "Revolution Canyon". The 5 day/4 night trip was cut short by Mother Nature's threat of extraneous rainfall (as in inches in hours), and birds that just wouldn't talk. Not that it requires vocal birds to get the job done, but waiting for hours in ambush while visualizing the schematics for Noah's ark, is not how East Coast Nick wished to harvest his first bird.Needless to say, this 3 part Hunt Series (this being Part 2 of 3) is filled with quality banter, bashing and brainstorming over lessons learned.Catch this series on YouTube for the pitch-site recording environment.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%

Hunt Series: Non-Resident Archery Elk - Part 2 of 7
One of my favorite aspects of a solid day's grind in the backcountry is the meal at the end of the day. The bag of freeze dried you choose may either add to your enjoyment or contribute immensely to your misery. Listen in as we discuss a hidden gem of a US-based backcountry meal company nestled in the mountains of Pennsylvania, On Point Adventure Foods (OPAF). OPAF is defying the industry trend of large fancy bags full of over-salted ingredients from who knows where with locally-sourced meat and vegetables from PA farmers and 4-H groups. The meals the husband and wife team prepare are some of their very own favorite recipes, making your dinning experience more like a "home cooked" meal.In this episode, your going to hear some key options OPAF offers, such as custom recipes, options to add your own brand of collagen peptides to each bag, fruit and vegetable smoothies and a couple new meals to choose from later this summer. Are you finished with the main course and ready for some D-ssert? OPAF's strawberry shortcake is D-lish, and their cheese cake is homemade and offered in single-serving snack sizes.Lastly, if you find yourself in a pickle while out on the trail (or off trail), they offer 3 different flavors of freeze dried pickles. If you're not hungry after reading this episode description, you will be after you listen to the next 60 minutes of LIMBITLESS chatter.Be LIMBITLESSMatthew 3:3 "“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”If you have comments, questions or concerns, or you have an idea or request for an episode or series topic, please contact host Aaron Ritter at [email protected] may find all things LIMBITLESS at www.limbitlessoutdoors.comInformation regarding the A3G Initiative may be found at www.a3ginitiative.orgIG: @limbitless_servicegroupIG: @a3g_initiativeFB: @LIMB-itless OutdoorsFB: @A3G InitiativeYouTube: @LIMBitlessOutdoorsPodcast Sponsors: (codes available during podcasts)- Hunting Day Coffee: 10%- Phelps Game Calls: 20%- On Point Adventure Foods: 10%- Vortex Optics: 25%- Wilderness Athlete: 20%- The Love Sauce: 10%
