”You Are a Poem: Interviews with Educators” is an exploration of language, learning, and layers in between. Using multimodal approach, this show looks at the power of words to teach, inspire, and give voice to collective ideas in education. Through the action of interviewing educators we explore critical pedagogy and cultural perceptions, in an ever expanding process through a conversation, a seemingly simple but exquisitely precious exchange with each other. Life is layered in sounds and images that may weave stories and create feelings. Words go through us and inspire action. What is your relationship to the sounds, meaning, and feeling? How do they influence, motivate, and construct you? This is a radio program recorded at the American University of Paris. Produced by Nicole DiSante as a Master’s Project for the Masters in Global Communications - MAGC program.
