We’re back for the 2026 school year! In Episode 6 of the LNPS Podcast, we officially welcome our families back and share key updates for the term ahead. We introduce our newest staff members, extend a warm welcome to our brand new Reception students and their families, and reflect on the highlights from our recent Building Connections Night.

Our Year 5 students have been diving deep into their inquiry unit, “Democracy in Action,” exploring the foundations of democratic systems and what it means to have a voice within a community. As part of this authentic learning experience, students formed their own political parties, developed policies based on issues that mattered to them, and ran full campaign trails across the school.

In this episode, our staff step behind the microphone to explore the skills, mindsets, and dispositions that shape empowered, engaged, and successful learners at LNPS.Episode 1 features real classroom conversations from LNPS staff and highlights how our learner qualities come to life through the implementation of co-constructed Anchor Charts.
