Longy is an Essex-born musician, songwriter and electrifying live performer known for his raw, genre-blending mix of rock, indie and punk-tinged storytelling. He first gained attention with his band Longy & The Gospel Trash, whose album Songs from the Seaside featured standout tracks including “Love Schizophrenia.” Alongside his band work, Longy has released a string of powerful singles such as “Tape Up,” “No One Goes Cold on My Watch,” “The Underclass,” “Sticky Boots,” “iMerica,” and “Back from the Abyss.”A relentless touring artist, Longy has performed extensively across the UK, building a reputation for intense, emotionally charged live shows and appearances at independent festivals and headline venues. In 2025, he featured at Into the Valueverse, the UK’s first Bitcoin-powered live music event, where he was introduced to the value-for-value (V4V) model by the New Music Nudge Unit — marking a new chapter in his independent music journey.
