Love, Hate, Joy, Pain, Sunshine, & Rain
Mental Health AwarenessWhen I was younger, I often heard people say:“If you talk to a therapist or psychiatrist, you must be crazy.”This stigma has silenced too many voices for too long.Bias, stereotypes, labeling, and judgment stop resiliency. They create harm, even when unintended, and they prevent people from seeking the help they need.It takes courage to speak openly about mental health. By sharing our struggles, we don’t just help ourselves — we help others know they’re not alone. In this talk, recorded live at a National Conference, I explore the power of self-awareness, resiliency, and community in breaking stigma and building healing.Healing begins with awareness. Awareness begins with conversation. And conversation begins with courage.#MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma #Resiliency #SelfAwareness
