Capacity and Choice: Why Growth Requires Integration
Have you ever made the decision to change your life…only to find yourself slipping back into the same patterns? You know what you want. You’ve made the choice. And yet something inside you keeps pulling you back to what’s familiar. In this episode, Christina continues the Capacity and Choice series by exploring why real change often feels harder than we expect. It’s not because you lack discipline. It’s because your nervous system may not yet have the capacity to hold the life you’re trying to build.Through a personal story about a powerful weekend of integration, Christina shares what it looks like to slow down, listen to the body, and allow real expansion to happen. This conversation breaks down the difference between pushing for growth and building the nervous system capacity to sustain it.In This Episode• What “capacity” actually means in nervous system work• Why implementation often falls apart even when you know what you want• How survival patterns like overworking can become subtle forms of numbing• Why growth happens in layers, not all at once• What titration means and why expansion must happen in small doses• The role of rest and integration in real transformationKey TakeawayGrowth doesn’t happen by forcing change.Capacity grows when we pace ourselves, allow integration, and gently expand what our nervous system can safely hold.Sometimes the most powerful step forward is creating space for your body to process.Resources Mentioned🫁 5-Minute Nervous System Reset www.breathofrenewal.com/reset🌿 The Renewal Room – Breathwork Membership A space to practice breathwork and somatic tools together while gently expanding your capacity for the life you’re creating. www.breathofrenewal.com/membershipShare the EpisodeIf this conversation resonated with you, share it with a woman who might need the reminder that nothing is wrong with her nervous system — it may simply need more space to grow.Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone. You’re always welcome to book a conversation with me, and we can feel into what kind of support would actually serve you right now — whether that’s the Breath of Renewal membership, 1:1 somatic support, or something else entirely. You’ll find the link to start that conversation in the show notes.https://calendly.com/breathofrenewal/breakthrough-sessionEnjoying the show, be sure you follow the show, so you never miss when a new episode drops.Leave a 5-star review, so others can also find me.Share with a friend. You can support this podcast:https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/2YKV9S275TWHWChristina can be found on: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/breath_of_renewal/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/christina.sommers.96E-mail Christina:[email protected] out Christina's website at www.breathofrenewal.com

Cocoon Season: When Your Old Identity No Longer Fits
Have you ever felt like you're working really hard… but nothing is actually moving forward?Like you're busy, exhausted, doing all the things — yet somehow every day feels the same.In this episode, Christina shares a moment from her own journey when everything suddenly felt like Groundhog Day. The effort was there, but the clarity and momentum felt stuck.Instead of pushing harder, she began asking a different question:What if nothing is wrong… and something deeper is actually shifting? This episode explores what many people call ego death — or what Christina calls cocoon season — the space between who you used to be and who you're becoming.Christina shares how identity shifts affect the nervous system, why overworking and perfectionism often resurface during growth, and how building capacity and choice helps you move forward. If you've ever questioned your path, your purpose, or whether you're doing enough… this conversation is for you.In This Episode• Why growth can feel like Groundhog Day• What "ego death" actually means• Why Christina calls it cocoon season • How identity shifts affect the nervous system • Why overworking often returns during expansion • The role of capacity and choice in real changeBreathwork InvitationChristina created The Breath of Renewal Circle as a space to reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and expand your capacity safely. You can join as a member or attend a single breathwork session to experience the work.https://www.breathofrenewal.com/membershipIf this episode resonated with you, share it with a woman who might need to hear it too.Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

From Accident to Self Trust: My Origin Story
This episode is more personal than most…Because I realized something recently:I’ve been teaching self-trust…I’ve been guiding women back into their bodies…I’ve been holding space for healing…But I’ve never fully shared where my own self-trust journey truly began. And it didn’t start when I found breathwork. It started ten years ago.In 2016, I felt an undeniable call to move back to Virginia — even though I had no job, no home, and no real plan. I trusted the pull anyway.About a month later, I was in a head-on collision.Coma.Multiple surgeries.Wheelchair for four months.Loss of independence overnight. And in the middle of that breaking…I was faced with a choice.Stay in victimhood…Or decide what my “new normal” would be.That moment — lying in a hospital bed, stripped of everything familiar — was the true beginning of my self-trust journey. In this episode, I share:• The intuitive call that led me to move• The accident and recovery that changed everything• The identity unraveling that followed• How survival patterns shaped my life and relationships• Why mindset work alone wasn’t enough for healing• How breathwork became the bridge back to my body• The difference between top-down and bottom-up healingThis conversation is about more than my story. It’s about the moments in life that break us open…And the power we reclaim when we choose to rebuild instead of remain stuck. If you’ve ever felt disconnected from yourself…If you’ve been surviving instead of living…If you’re craving a way to release what your body has been holding…You’re not alone. And there is a path back to yourself — breath by breath.⟡If you feel called to experience this work firsthand, you’re invited to join me inside the Breathwork Membership — a space for nervous system regulation, emotional release, and rebuilding self-trust from the inside out. Each month includes guided breathwork journeys, integration, and a supportive space to soften survival patterns and come home to yourself.Join for one session to give it a try or the monthhttps://www.breathofrenewal.com/membership⟡Thank you for being here. For witnessing my story. And for doing the brave work of choosing yourself.Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Financial Self-Trust: Identity, Money Leadership & Learning to Lead Your Numbers
In this week’s episode, we’re continuing the conversation around self-trust and boundaries — but from the financial lens.Because financial leadership isn’t just about spreadsheets…It’s about identity. It’s about who you believe yourself to be when you look at your money.Inside this episode, I’m sharing in real time — messy, honest, and unfiltered — what it’s looked like to step into a new identity while building deeper financial self-trust.We talk about the tension that happens when the old version of you is shedding… while the new version is still integrating. And how that shows up in:• Avoiding your numbers• Over-investing from fear• Undercharging for your work• Overextending your time and energy• Questioning your financial leadershipI also share personal reflections around:— Investing from expansion vs. FOMO— Listening to your body’s financial yes + no— Generational money stories— The link between nervous system safety and financial decisionsAnd from the practical CFO lens, we start grounding this work in the numbers — beginning with:• Understanding your Profit & Loss• The difference between net income vs. cash flow• Why separating business + personal finances matters• Using your numbers to build clarity instead of fearBecause financial self-trust is built piece by piece — not overnight.💬 Workshop InvitationI’m currently building a hands-on workshop focused on the practical side of financial leadership — walking through how to actually start looking at your numbers, organizing your finances, and preparing for things like taxes. If you want to be part of it as it comes together…Email me or DM me the word WORKSHOP and I’ll send you the details as soon as they’re ready. If this episode resonated, don’t forget to:• Follow the podcast• Leave a review• Share it with someone building financial self-trust tooBecause this work becomes more powerful when we walk it together 🤍Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Learning to Say No: Healing People-Pleasing, Fawning & Over-Giving
Saying no isn’t just about boundariesIt’s about self-trust.In this episode, Christina continues the monthly theme of Self-Trust & Boundaries by exploring what it really means to learn how to say no — emotionally, somatically, and relationally.Because for many women, saying yes when they mean no isn’t a personality trait…It’s a survival response.Through personal stories and nervous system insight, Christina unpacks the patterns of people-pleasing, fawning, and over-giving — and how these learned behaviors disconnect us from your voice, energy, and truth. This conversation is both compassionate and empowering — offering awareness without shame, and hope for what becomes possible when self-trust begins to rebuild. In This Episode, We Explore• What people-pleasing actually is (and why it forms)• The “chameleon effect” — shape-shifting for acceptance• How emotional sensitivity + empathy play a role• Fawning as a nervous system survival response• Why keeping the peace can disconnect you from yourself• Where over-giving shows up in work, parenting, and business• The difference between giving from overflow vs obligation• Resentment as a somatic boundary signal• First attempts at saying no (and why they feel shaky)• Why “No is a complete sentence” can feel revolutionary• The body’s signals when you abandon your truthKey TakeawayPeople-pleasing, fawning, and over-giving aren’t flaws. They’re survival strategies. And self-trust is rebuilt when you begin honoring your body’s no — even in small moments.Monthly Breathwork InvitationIf this conversation resonated…If you’re noticing how much your body braces, contracts, or overrides itself…Our breathwork sessions are designed to help you:• Regulate your nervous system• Release stored survival tension• Reconnect with your inner voice• Rebuild self-trust somaticallyYou can join live or step into the membership for ongoing support.Click Here for the DetailsReflection QuestionWhere in your life are you saying yes…When your body is whispering no?And what would it look like to honor one of those no’s this week?If this episode supported you, be sure to follow the show, leave a review, or share it with someone walkinSupport the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Why You Don’t Trust Your Financial Decisions — And How to Start Rebuilding
Financial self-trust doesn’t just impact your bank account — it impacts how you lead, decide, and feel building your business. In this Supported Life (Money) episode, Christina continues the conversation from earlier this week — moving from personal self-trust into financial self-trust.Because many women don’t just question relationships…They question their financial decisions too. This episode explores why distrust shows up around money — not only from personal experience, but from generational and systemic conditioning. It wasn’t that long ago that women couldn’t open bank accounts or access credit independently — and those imprints still live in our nervous systems today.Blending somatic awareness with practical leadership, Christina reframes financial data not as judgment, but as information — a story showing where your business has been, where it stands, and where it’s heading. In This Episode, We Explore:• Why women distrust financial decisions• Survival patterns + money leadership• Generational and historical conditioning• Epigenetics + inherited fear responses• The “fleas in a jar” conditioning metaphor• Reading financial data as business story• Emotional reaction vs informed leadership• CFO-style interpretation of numbers• The three-legged stool: You, Money, People• First steps to rebuilding financial trustKey TakeawayFinancial trust isn’t built through perfect decisions — but through learning to lead yourself with data, awareness, and self-compassion.Practical SupportA workshop on separating finances and understanding your numbers is in development. Rebuilding Self-Trust After Survival
Self-trust doesn’t disappear overnight. It erodes slowly — through survival patterns, people-pleasing, codependency, and years of putting everyone else’s needs before your own.For many women, the realization comes when they find themselves questioning everything — their decisions, their intuition, their voice. In this episode, Christina opens an honest, compassionate conversation about rebuilding trust in yourself after living in survival mode.Because self-distrust isn’t a personal failure. It’s an adaptive response.Through personal reflection and somatic insight, she explores how self-trust is repaired — not through force or mindset alone — but through micro-moments of honoring your body, needs, and boundaries. In this episode, we explore:• How survival patterns erode self-trust• Intuition vs. hypervigilance• What self-distrust looks like in daily decisions• People-pleasing and codependency patterns• Boundaries as internal safety• Nervous system healing and trust• How self-trust shows up in the body• Micro-moments that begin repairA key reminder:Self-trust isn’t rebuilt in giant leaps. It’s rebuilt every time you:• Listen to your body• Follow through on your needs• Hold a boundary• Choose not to abandon yourselfSmall moments create deep repair.Invitation: Monthly Breathwork SessionIf you feel disconnected from yourself…If your mind is loud but your body feels quiet…Breathwork helps rebuild trust from the inside out.Our next live session is this Thursday.Join as a one-time experience — or step into the monthly membership for ongoing support.Inside this space, we focus on:• Nervous system regulation• Body reconnection• Releasing survival bracing• Rebuilding internal safetyYou don’t have to do this alone.Sign up for the next Renewal Room session: https://www.breathofrenewal.com/membershipFlow Your Dough — 5-Day ChallengeIf self-trust wounds are showing up around money too, this is a powerful next step:https://flowyourdough.com/challenge💬 Reflection QuestionWhere in your life are you learning to trust yourself again? And what is one small way you can honor that trust this weSupport the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Your Numbers Tell a Story: How to Use Financial Data to Support Your Vision
Coming fresh off a two-day live event, Christina records this episode in real-time integration — reflecting on the connection between nervous system safety, identity, structure… and money.Inspired by the metaphor of water — flow, resistance, grip, and softening — this conversation bridges inner capacity work with the practical reality of business finances.Because your numbers are not separate from your nervous system. They’re part of the story you’re living and building. In this episode, Christina continues the conversation from earlier this week — moving from safety and capacity into a grounded exploration of how to engage with your finances without shame, pressure, or overwhelm.Rather than focusing on systems or bookkeeping steps, this episode centers on awareness, orientation, and direction. You’ll explore how financial data functions the way a CFO presents it to stakeholders — not as judgment, but as a narrative explaining where a business has been, where it stands, and where it’s heading. In this episode, we explore:• Nervous system responses around money • Why numbers are information, not identity • How financials reflect business direction • The link between your vision and your data • How to read the story your numbers tell • Why awareness allows real-time adjustmentYou’ll also hear the visual of the three-legged stool — the core supports of a sustainable business:• You — energy, leadership, capacity • Money — cash flow, sustainability, profit • People — clients, audience, impactWhen one leg weakens, the structure wobbles. This episode isn’t about perfection or mastery. It’s about building the capacity to look — so you can consciously write the next chapter of your business story. Two Ways to Go DeeperPractical Support If you’re ready to separate finances and understand your numbers, a workshop is in development. From Safety to Capacity: When Structure Supports Instead of Suffocates
In January, we focused on safety — what it feels like in the body, how to recognize when you’re surviving instead of truly living, and why change isn’t simple even when you know something isn’t serving you anymore. But once safety begins to return, a new question often arises: Now what? In this episode of Loving Your Life Again, Christina explores what comes after safety — capacity — and how learning to support yourself changes everything. You’ll hear a real-life story about travel delays, shifting plans, and choosing safety over forcing, and how those moments mirror what happens inside our nervous systems when we stop pushing and start listening. This episode is an invitation to rethink structure — not as pressure or control, but as something that can hold you, support you, and help you grow. ✨ In this episode, we explore: The difference between safety and stagnationWhy capacity isn’t built by doing more, but by being supportedHow structure can soothe instead of suffocateWhat your nervous system is telling you about your current seasonWhy flexibility is a sign of regulation, not weaknessYou’ll also get a gentle check-in to help you notice: Where you’re holding too tightlyWhere support is already presentAnd where you might be asking yourself to do too much aloneThis conversation sets the foundation for February’s theme of capacity and integration, and leads naturally into later discussions about practical support — including money, structure, and sustainable growth. If you’re navigating change, healing old patterns, or learning how to live with more ease and self-trust, this episode is for you.Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Why Looking at Your Numbers Feels So Hard (And How to Make It Safe Again)
So many women think their money struggles are about discipline, willpower, or “not being good with numbers.”Most of the time, they’re not. They’re about safety. In this episode of Loving Your Life Again, Christina continues the conversation about the nervous system and brings it into a very real, very practical place: your relationship with your money and your numbers. You’ll explore why looking at your finances can trigger overwhelm, shutdown, or control — and why that doesn’t mean you’re bad at money. It means your nervous system learned that money wasn’t safe.Christina breaks down the two most common survival responses around money:Avoidance (not looking, procrastinating, “I’ll deal with it later”)Hypervigilance (over-checking, over-controlling, over-restricting)Both are protective strategies. Neither means you’re broken. You’ll also hear why:Your numbers are not a verdict on your worth or successMixing personal and business finances often creates unnecessary overwhelmSeparating them is not just a financial best practice — it’s a nervous-system interventionYou don’t need a perfect system — you need a simple, tolerable, repeatable oneSafety and capacity come before consistency and disciplineThis episode includes a gentle check-in to meet yourself where you are, without shame or pressure, and to help you identify the next kind, supportive step forward. If you’ve ever felt:Overwhelmed by your numbersAfraid to look at your financesOr stuck in a cycle of avoidance or over-controlThis episode will help you understand why — and how to begin creating clarity in a way your nervous system can actually sustain. In This Episode, You’ll LearnWhy money is a nervous system issue, not just a mindset issueThe difference between avoidance and hypervigilance around financesWhy your numbers are neutral information, not a moral scoreHow separating personal and business finances reduces overwhelmWhat kind of system actually works for a stressed nervous systemHow to take the next step without pressure, shame, or burnoutChristina is currently creating a workshop to help you:Separate personal and business financesClean up your nSupport the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Why You’re Always Tired, Tense, or On Edge: Understanding Nervous System Bracing
So many women think they’re anxious, broken, or “too much.”But often, they’re not. They’re braced. In this deeply grounding episode of Loving Your Life Again, Christina explores what nervous system bracing really is — what it looks like in real life, why so many of us don’t realize we’re doing it, and what it costs us over time.Using the movie Alice, Darling as a mirror — and weaving in her own lived experience — Christina shows how bracing develops in emotionally unsafe relationships and environments, and how it slowly leads to isolation, shrinking, and losing yourself.Bracing isn’t a mindset problem. It’s a safety problem. In this episode, you’ll learn:What “bracing” actually is in the nervous systemHow to recognize if your body is living in survival modeWhy bracing often looks like “being strong,” “being responsible,” or “having it together”The hidden cost of living in constant hypervigilanceWhy you can’t heal bracing by forcing yourself to relax or just “setting boundaries”How safety — not willpower — is what allows the armor to come offAnd what the very first gentle steps out of bracing actually look likeThis episode also includes a gentle somatic check-in to help you notice where your body might be holding tension right now — and how to begin creating small moments of safety and space. If you’ve ever felt:Always on edgeAlways tiredAlways managingOr like you’ve slowly disappeared inside your own life or relationshipsThis episode will help you understand why — and where real healing begins. You don’t heal bracing by thinking differently. Boundaries, Codependency, and Losing Yourself: How to Start Trusting Your Signals Again
Boundaries. Codependency. Losing yourself. These aren’t personality flaws — they’re survival strategies. In this deeply personal and grounding episode of Loving Your Life Again, Christina weaves together lived experience, nervous system wisdom, and gentle practical guidance to explore how so many of us slowly disappear inside relationships — and how to begin finding our way back. You’ll hear:Why you don’t lose yourself all at once (it happens in tiny moments of self-abandonment)What boundaries actually are — and why they don’t work if your nervous system doesn’t feel safe enough to hold themHow codependency isn’t about being “too nice,” but about organizing your identity around other people’s needsChristina also shares a powerful personal story about trying to “set boundaries” in an unsafe relationship — and the moment she realized that boundaries aren’t just words or agreements… they’re something your body has to be able to hold. This episode includes a gentle guided somatic and visualization practice to help you reconnect with yourself, imagine what it might feel like to truly love your life again, and identify one small, compassionate next step you can take.✨ If you’ve ever asked yourself:“Why do I keep abandoning myself?”“Why do I know better, but still can’t seem to hold the line?”“How did I lose myself in this relationship?”…this episode is for you.🧭 In This Episode, You’ll Learn:The real definition of boundaries (and why they’re about what you allow, not controlling others)How codependency develops as a survival strategyThe subtle ways we give our power away over timeWhy self-abandonment feels safer than honesty when your nervous system is in survivalHow to begin rebuilding self-trust and self-connectionSimple, compassionate first steps toward coming back to yourself🫁 Gentle Invitation / CTA SectionIf this episode resonates, Christina invites you to join her Breathwork Circle, where she supports women in rebuilding safety in their bodies, reconnecting with their inner signals, and gently coming home to themselves.Come Breathe With MeYou don’t have to think your way into healing. Why Looking at Your Numbers Feels So Overwhelming (And How to Make It Feel Safe Again)
If you’ve ever opened your banking app, your bookkeeping software, or even thought about your numbers and felt your whole body tighten — this episode is for you.In this episode, I’m introducing a new lane here on the podcast:Tuesdays will continue to be about healing, relationships, and coming home to yourself. Thursdays, we’re opening up a practical, grounded conversation about business and money — through a nervous-system lens. This is not about:Forcing disciplineIgnoring your emotionsOr pretending money stress is “just mindset”This is about learning how to work with your business and your body at the same time.In this episode, we talk about:Why so many smart, capable business owners avoid their numbersHow your nervous system associates money with danger, shame, or threatThe difference between mindset work and somatic capacityWhy “just be more organized” doesn’t work when your body is in stressHow to start building safety with your business — one small step at a timeAnd why financial clarity is not just a strategy issue, but a regulation issueThis episode is for you if:You avoid your books even though you want to be responsibleYou feel overwhelmed by money language and systemsYou want more clarity and stability in your business, but keep freezingOr you know you’re meant to build something sustainable — without burning yourself out or living in stressThis is the beginning of our practical money + nervous system conversations.Next week, we’ll start breaking down some of the basics in simple, human language — like why revenue is not the same as cash, and why that matters more than you think.✨ If you want to explore this in a supportive, embodied way, you’re always welcome in the Breath of Renewal membership or in 1:1 work.https://www.breathofrenewal.com/membershipSupport the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Why Leaving Isn’t Simple (Even When You Know You Should)
Have you ever looked at your relationship and thought, “Why am I still here?”In this episode, we’re talking about why people stay in relationships that hurt — even when, on some level, they know something isn’t right. And no, the answer isn’t “because you’re weak.”It’s because your nervous system, your history, and your survival patterns are all involved. In this episode, I share:The real (and very human) reasons we stayWhy leaving is often not a logical decision, but a nervous-system oneHow financial security, fear, conditioning, loyalty, and hope all play a roleHow staying in painful situations isn’t a character flaw — it’s often a survival strategyAnd how to start listening to what your body has been telling you all alongThis conversation is for you if:You’re in a relationship that doesn’t feel good anymoreYou just left one and are trying to make sense of why it took so longYou keep going back and forth between “it’s not that bad” and “something feels really wrong”Or you’re learning to trust yourself again after a long season of self-abandoningThis is not about shaming yourself. It’s about understanding yourself. And from that understanding, real choice becomes possible.✨ If you want support as you navigate this — through breathwork, somatic work, or gentle coaching — you’re always welcome inside the Breath of Renewal community or to book a 1:1 session.https://www.breathofrenewal.com/membershipYou don’t have to do this alone.Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Have you ever been in a relationship that didn’t look that bad on the outside — but felt exhausting, confusing, or heavy on the inside? In this episode of Loving Your Life Again, Christina explores a gentler, more embodied question than “Is this relationship toxic?” or “Should I leave?” Do I feel safe being myself here? This conversation is for women who feel stuck in self-doubt, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion — especially those who learned to override their bodies to keep the peace. Why Do We Lose Joy While Doing the Work?
As we close out the year, many of us feel the pull to push harder, do more, and prepare for what’s next. But what if the most powerful thing you could do right now… is pause? In this episode of Loving Your Life Again, Christina shares an honest reflection on what happens when healing and personal growth become too serious — and how the body gently calls us back to joy.Drawing from her own experience completing a major season of work, Christina explores how easy it is to slip into productivity mode and quietly abandon self-care without realizing it. Through breathwork and somatic awareness, she reconnects with the truth that release doesn’t require understanding — the body already knows how to let go.This episode is especially timely as we move through the final New Moon of the year in Sagittarius, a moment that invites big-picture reflection, truth-telling, and intention setting for the year ahead. Energetically, we’re also closing a cycle of deep shedding and preparing to step into a season of forward momentum — making it essential to release what no longer belongs before moving ahead.Rather than forcing clarity or breakthroughs, Christina reminds us that joy, safety, and presence are practices — not rewards we earn later. If you’ve been feeling tired, serious, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode, this episode offers a gentle reframe and an embodied invitation to come back home to yourself. In This Episode, You’ll Hear:Why we often lose joy while “doing the work”How productivity can quietly override self-careWhy breathwork and somatic practices don’t require knowing what you’re releasingThe power of letting go without forcing an outcomeHow joy and play help regulate the nervous systemWhy this New Moon is a potent time for release and intentionHow to prepare for momentum without burning outInvitationTo honor this energetic threshold, Christina is holding a Release & Receive New Moon Breathwork Session on Friday, December 19 — a gentle, grounding space to let go, reconnect with your body, and set intentions for what’s next.✨ This session stands fully on its own. ✨ If you choose to join the Breath of Renewal Circle by December 31, your first month is free.Sign up today:https://calendly.com/breathofrenewal/Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

The Law of Opposites: Why Everything Gets Hard Right Before It Gets Better
This episode is all about the Law of Opposites and how the universe uses contrast to help you choose your next level. In this raw, honest, deeply human episode, Christina shares a real-time story about traveling that started out smooth, effortless, and magical… until the trip home. What unfolded became a powerful lesson in trust, nervous system regulation, and choosing alignment even when everything goes sideways. Inside this episode, you’ll hear: ✨ What the Law of Opposites actually is — and why it shows up every time you’re expanding, manifesting, or stepping into a new chapter. ✨ How the universe uses challenges to calibrate your next level — not to punish you, but to help you consciously choose who you want to be. ✨ A real-life story of divine timing — including a tight layover, a potential missed flight, and a “just-in-time” miracle that revealed exactly how supported you truly are. ✨ How old trauma patterns get activated in moments of stress — and how to regulate your nervous system so you don’t collapse back into fear, panic, or overthinking. ✨ What it means to trust the unseen — even when your mind wants to spiral or assume the worst. ✨ A gentle reminder: Your reaction in the moment of contrast is your declaration to the universe about what you truly want. This episode is for women healing from survival mode, recovering from toxic relationships, navigating emotional triggers, and learning how to trust themselves — and God — again. Are You Still Hiding in Plain Sight? How to Feel Safe Being Seen
What if the version of you that’s been “playing it safe” was never hiding at all—she was simply protecting the parts of you that didn’t yet feel safe to be seen? In this deeply personal solo episode, host Christina Sommers opens up about her recent realization that she’s been hiding in plain sight—softening her message, dimming her truth, and realizing that visibility without safety still isn’t freedom. Christina shares the story of The Woman at the Top of the Stairs from her chapter in Ignite Your Courage, a moment that marked the beginning of her own rebirth from surviving to thriving. Feel to Heal: How to Find Safety in Your Body and Truly Feel Your Feelings
Most of us were never taught how to feel.We were told things like: “Stop crying or I’ll give you something to cry about.” “You’re fine.” “Don’t be so sensitive.”So we learned to stuff down our emotions, loop through the stories in our minds, and disconnect from our bodies. The result? Explosions, shutdowns, or even dis-ease from years of suppressing what was never meant to be held inside. But here’s the truth: in order to feel better, we have to become better feelers. In this short and powerful episode, I share:Why it often doesn’t feel safe to express emotionsThe difference between feeling and bypassing (no fake positivity here)Simple somatic tools — breath, sound, and movement — to help emotions flowHow to find your “edge” so you stay safe without overwhelming your systemWhy feeling isn’t weakness, but strength — the pathway back home to yourself✨ You don’t have to fix the feeling. The Art of Remembering: Coming Home to Yourself Through Breathwork
This week, I’m going raw and unfiltered.I’ve been deep in the work of remembering — the kind that has nothing to do with your mind and everything to do with your body.Because here’s the truth: you can’t think your way home. You have to feel your way there. In this episode, I’m breaking down:Why we forget who we are (and how life, trauma, and conditioning pull us away)What “remembering” actually feels like in the bodyHow breathwork helps you bypass the mind and meet the truth waiting inside youWhy bypassing isn’t healing — and what to do insteadThis isn’t a fluffy “just breathe” conversation. It’s a call to reclaim the parts of you that have been silenced, shut down, or shoved into the background. And if you’re ready to take this from conversation to embodiment, my Breath of Renewal Monthly Circle is happening this Sunday, August 17th @ 3:00 PM ET.This is your invitation to gather with women from all walks of life, breathe as one, release what’s been heavy, and remember who you are.🎟 Save your seat here → https://calendly.com/breathofrenewal/monthly-breathwork-circleYour body already knows you’re ready. Healing Heartbreak & Reclaiming Your Power with Diane Beck
Heartbreak hurts—but it can also be the doorway to something beautiful. In this episode of Loving Your Life Again, I’m joined Diane Beck, who is an Intuitive Alignment Coach and creator of Soul Signal Mapping™, the core method behind her transformational program Healing Heartbreaks. She helps high-functioning women heal the emotional root of their pain, reconnect with unconscious wisdom, and realign their lives from the inside out - so they can feel whole, powerful, and fully themselves. Her work isn’t only about mindset or a surface-level coaching. She guides women through heartbreak as a portal and a way in to true transformation - using the nervous system and unconscious signals as a map back to deep clarity and intuition, self-trust, and feminine leadership. The result? Strong feminine women who attract aligned relationships, lead with wisdom, and become the matriarchs of the next generation - not from performance, but from truth. At the heart of her work is a simple truth:If you don’t transmute your pain, you transmit it.Now is the time to come home to who you really are. We talk about:How heartbreak reveals deeper patterns in love and self-worthWhy we cling to what’s familiar (even when it hurts)How to use pain as a catalyst for transformation and self-loveIf you’re ready to release old wounds and rediscover your power, this episode is for you.Diane's Resources: Free Guide: https://www.healingheartbreaks.com/free-download-1 About the program: https://www.dianebeckcoaching.com/healing-heartsMain website home page: https://www.dianebeckcoaching.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/dianebeckcoaching/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DianeBeckCoachingFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/dianebeckcoaching/Work with Me: Somatic Coaching: https://calendly.com/breathofrenewal/somatic_coachingMonthly Breathwork Circle: https://calendly.com/breathofrenewal/monthly-breathwork-circleSupport the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Frustration, Misalignment & Radical Responsibility: What Is Your Body Trying to Tell You?
Have you ever felt like you were holding someone else’s frustration and calling it your own?In this week’s episode, I’m peeling back the layers on something I’ve been deeply feeling this season: frustration. Not just the everyday kind, but the deeper kind—the frustration that comes from misalignment, unspoken boundaries, old trauma responses, and nervous system patterns that we didn’t choose… but that are still running the show.We explore:How frustration is often a symptom of misalignment (not failure)Why it’s not just a mindset issue—and how our bodies remember what our minds dismissWhat it means to take radical responsibility without taking on someone else’s emotional laborThe connection between codependency, self-abandonment, and emotional confusionHow money becomes a mirror for our patterns—and what it’s trying to show usThis episode is an invitation to slow down, check in with your body, and gently begin to discern what’s truly yours to carry.Key Takeaways:Frustration is often a sign you’ve compromised your truth for someone else’s comfort.Picking up someone else’s emotion—especially their frustration—is a form of energetic enmeshment.Radical responsibility is not about blame—it’s about reclaiming your power.Your nervous system holds wisdom your mind hasn’t yet made sense of.Somatic healing begins when we stop intellectualizing and start listening to the body.Journal Prompts:Where am I currently feeling frustrated—and is it actually mine? What part of me am I abandoning in order to avoid conflict? When I think about money (or a current struggle), what is my body trying to tell me?What would it look like to take radical responsibility without self-blame?If this episode resonates, please share it with a friend, tag me on socials, and leave a review. Importance of Gut Health - A Healing Journey
On this week's episode I dive into the importance of Gut Health within the Healing Journey with Jennifer Tabrizi. Jennifer is a fitness + gut health coach for women. Years ago she faced a life-changing diagnosis of Crohn's disease + almost lost her colon. This situation pretty much forced Jennifer into taking better care of her health. Through fitness, nutrition, and yoga, Jennifer was able to help her body heal, and has now been in remission from Crohn's for 7+ years. After going through this experience, Jennifer felt called to teach other women how they too could enhance their lives through the modalities that helped her. Jennifer's mission is to help other women see that anything is possible when it comes to healing + good health.Three key pillars for holistic healing from the inside out includes nutrition, movement and mind - through yoga, meditation and energetically creating space to heal the body.Share with us your key takeaway or one thing you can begin implementing today.Jennifer can be found at:https://www.instagram.com/healingwithjennifer/Support the showIf this episode stirred something in you and you’re not quite sure what the next best step is, you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Passionate About God & Healing
On this weeks conversation, I have a deep conversation with Nilzara Rivera. We dive deep into the conversation regarding our faith journey, love for God and healing. Meet Nilzara Rivera, a Trauma-Informed Intuitive Healer, Transformational Coach, and Light Language Practitioner. Nilzara has a passionate connection to God, which has helped to explore and fine-tune her skills in distant energy healing, healing meditations, and light language. Her real, raw, yet loving approach creates a safe space where people are empowered to heal and unLayer the bullshit holding them back from being their unique expression of God. In addition, Nilzara is a domestic violence survivor and advocate, has a degree in Applied Behavioral Science, is an international bestselling author, and has her Reiki 1, Life Coach, Health Coach, and Anger Management Coach Certifications. But what best positioned Nilzara to be a healer and transformational coach was her decision to heal the emotional wounds that hindered her from prioritizing herself. She knows the exhaustion and pain that comes from living a life where her identity and self-worth rely on meeting the needs of others while neglecting her wants, needs, and desires.
