Magic Eight Ball: Once Again
'Once Again' by Magic Eight Ball. Written by Baz Francis Duarte. Taken from the band's third album, 'Richest Men In The Graveyard' (released on 2nd May 2016 through Magic Cat Records), 'Once Again' is also accompanied by the Jolanda Tegenbosch and Albert Van de Werfhorst-directed video and the Magic Eight Ball live mini-album, 'Richest Men In The Dolls House' (released on 25th July 2016 through Magic Cat Records again). Magic Eight Ball's 3rd long player is a New Orleans-inspired funeral album; a Hallowe'en record for all seasons if you will. Like its predecessor 'Last Of The Old Romantics', 'Richest Men In The Graveyard' is not so much a concept album as a heavily themed collection, based this time around the subject of the one thing that none of us can avoid: death, and how we all deal with what goes on before and after that point. It is however more about the joy of embracing life and celebrating the afterlife than it is about mourning and sadness in those thoughts.
