    Life and living is full of changes, and these changes can mess us up when life becomes unfamiliar.  When things are not going our way and we consistently run into roadblocks, I believe times of Divine detours. But because our internal issues that severely challenge our trust and not having a solid reference point for what being able to trust really looks like, we oftentimes doubt God’s abilities. This episode provides a mental imagery of what it looks like to trust God completely.

    7: The Power of Fear

    Fear is something that is useful when it comes to keeping us from danger. But when gone unchecked, it becomes immobilizing.  When you are immobilized, you can’t move beyond certain points.  If fear goes unchecked, they will become strongholds. A stronghold is a fortress and some of us have been behind our fortress for so long that we don’t recognize that we have become imprisoned by them.

    Forgiveness is letting go of the feelings that come with anger and resentment toward a person or people that committed offense against you.  The key is ... Forgiveness is POWERFUL with a two-fold affect.  It will not only free those who wronged you, it also releases you from the stress of carrying the burden & frustration of what happened. Forgiveness is a powerful instrument in your self-care tool belt.
