Another week another Pink Floyd album - who is it that is loving this band?!?!? the good news is it is the last one we have to listen to (if we stop at 50 or 100!) And also another repeat offender - Kendrick - do middle aged suburban UK indie kids have much life experience to relate to Kendricks growing up in Compton??? You know the answers - it's another week of us slating albums!!! which tends to make a better podcast than a love in!!!! Two seminal pretty perfect genre defining indie albums here! We are sure you have heard them and love them so buckle up for some some lovely nostalgia. Nick tries Irn Bru beer! Kris manages to shoehorn in a random 80s star! the playlist had about 83 songs on it so its a best of the best discussion (and one bit of hate from Kris as we can't possible do a podcast with 100% positivity!) All you need to know is you pay hundreds of pounds to see these comedians every year and you can hit play and be entertained for absolutely nothing by us, the first five minutes are gold. If you don't like them then this is not for you. Go listen to some Adele or radio 1 fodder instead. So todays epiosde features an album you have all heard of vs an album none of you have heard of. What is important is that we are opinionated swines and dissect these albums as if we have no prejudice (well near enough none!) Also a very short playlist this week full of alright songs to get your ears around. Unfortunately no mention of random 80s bands. Kris will have to try harder next week.

Welcome to 2024! We spend far too long talking about booze (the decadence of Brandy in January!) then discuss two very loooong albums that are not the best in our opinion! Matts Clash rant will go dow in history (this will be the legendary rant all other rants will be judged against from now on!) Hear Kris say random 80s musical acts (3 this week!) Laugh along with us as we are good at slagging things off in a funny way! Hear Nicks senior moment in all its glory! And as a bonus Matt gives tips on how to annoy Fleetwood Mac fans.

So most of you will know 2 1/2 songs by Elastica and none by King Adora and you can hear us bang on about our love for these indie debuts. If you do have time please listen they are full of great indie songs (and some filler - but not much!) Unfortunately the ghost of Steve Jobs was in Matts house stopping his audio from time to time so its a wee bit "messy" in places and half the playlist discussion is missing! oh well all 17 of you will survive and you get 15 minutes less time to go listen to other stuff instead!

So the silly list has these albums in the 400s and that is just ridiculous so we have put the up against each other (well not really they are both 10/10 so nothing loses!!) we also talk about our Christmas playlist (so sorry if its not December!) This week we encounter an album that changed everything for all 3 of us. We were just turning 14 when it came out so is a massive influence. Did Neutral Milk's indie folk vibes have enough to overcome the heavyweight?....well no it didn't but we still have good (and bad, and funny) things to say about it! Also we review this weeks playlist (new music getting thin on the ground this time of year!) and generally have a laugh while drinking beer (or fizzy juice in Nicks case!)

Here we go again! crazy shenanigans this week! accusations flying across the airwaves for these poor rich music stars, mental stories from an old Suede gig, far too long talking about beer (again)....and some actual talk about the dirt and gold on the white album and no one can agree on Funeral (genius, some filler and bland - can you guess who says what???) Strap in...its a long one again (and at least 15 mins has been cut by Matt to make it more palatable for you lucky people!

This week we get to listen to one of the best albums of all time (according to Kris' t-shirt collection) Led Zepp 4. Hear Matt being critical about Mr Plant and Nick being indifferent as usual (maybe one day be will get his beloved Manics albums!) We also try and find nice things to say about Pet Sounds....not the easiest task in the world for us! After that its onto this weeks playlist which has a few decent tunes in it. No new Beatles song to discuss this week so the podcast is shorter! C'mon get on it people! Brighten up your life! Promise you will laugh at least twice, maybe even thrice!
