    time management + overconsumption

    After a long break, I'm back to talk about where I've been and what's been on my mind lately! I've grown a lot through the Lord's faithfulness, therapy sessions and a health decline, and I'm excited to experience this next phase of life. I talk about all of that and more in today's (ramble-y as always) episode.

    autumn is officially here!

    Today's lighthearted episode is a very long ramble about how much I love the autumn season, just because I wanted to ramble about it. Towards the end, I share some fall bucket list ideas, as well as my personal list, and talk about my hopes for this time of year.

    giving your nervous system a break

    Sometimes, we don't know how anxious, overwhelmed, or stressed we are until we hit a breaking point, & then it feels like the end of the world. So how do we avoid this? In this episode, I share how my nerves were really messed up today, & how I intentionally tried to calm them. Hopefully some advice I shared can help you with your own self-regulation!

    a realistic day in the life of a human

    We get very personal in this episode while I go on a low-energy ramble about routines & productivity. I think it’s good to break out of routine every now and then, or re-evaluate your priorities, & decide what true productivity is to YOU personally. Take time for yourself, to recharge your social battery, motivation, or peace of mind. Practice self-compassion. Know when it’s time to push through excuses, & when it’s time to give yourself a break because you really are doing enough.

    Where's the line between following Jesus & following your heart? There's a counter-culture message I want to share with you today, to explain how the mindfulness & self improvement we talk about on this podcast will all be filtered through a scriptural lens. It's a message that might upset some people, but I hope you know I'm coming at it with love & zero judgment.
