Momentum for the Entrepreneurial Personality Type (EPT)

The Momentum Podcast is for those who of us who think differently — made especially for empire builders, game-changers, trailblazers, record makers, and creators of all kinds. Those among us who can't turn it off, and don't know why anyone would want to. We challenge complacency, destroy apathy, and we are obsessed with creating momentum. While the rest of the world strives for average and clings desperately to the status quo, you and I are compelled to move forward and change the world. We are the minority, the few, who are willing to hallucinate there could be a better future. Instead of just daydreaming of what could be, we endure the vulnerability and exposure it takes to make it real. We are the evolutionary hunters. The most important people in the world because entrepreneurs are the only source of consistent, positive human evolution, and we always will be.

    906 - Passenger Seat Leadership

After a two-year sabbatical, Alex returns to the Momentum Podcast with a major update. In this powerful and emotional episode, Alex shares why he stepped away from business operations, what he's been studying (sex, intimacy, relationships, Tantra, Taoism), and why Simple Operations has officially transitioned to new leadership. Rather than letting the movement fade, Alex made a deliberate decision: hand it over to someone who loves it even more than he does. That person is Gabe. Gabe first encountered Alex's work in 2018 while rebuilding from bankruptcy. He didn't just learn the Simple Operations System — he embodied it. Today, Gabe leads multiple businesses from what Alex calls the "passenger seat" — working 20–30 hours per week, maintaining a thriving family life, and scaling with simplicity instead of chaos. In this episode, you'll hear: • Why Alex is unlikely to return to business operations • The real reason Simple Operations changed hands • The philosophy behind "Passenger Seat Leadership." • How to stop running your business from the driver's seat • Why simplicity scales and complexity creates constraint • The framework for eliminating daily chaos and interruptions • What wealth actually means beyond revenue and profit Gabe has expanded Alex's foundational concepts into a new book, Passenger Seat Leadership, designed for expert-led businesses between $750K–$10M that want growth without overwhelm. If you've ever felt like you're juggling chainsaws while riding a unicycle — this episode (and this book) is for you. Join the waitlist and get launch pricing + access to a live Q&A: →https://www.passengerseatleadership.com/ Alex closes the episode with deep gratitude for 900+ episodes of loyalty and gives a preview of what's next: The Brotherhood Society, a movement for men that he believes will change the world. This is more than a business update. It's a transition of legacy.

    875 - Evolutionary Hunter Revisited

The Entrepreneurial Personality Type content was introduced into the market in 2015, at Genius Network with Joe Polish, and almost immediately people said that they needed more.  They wanted to understand more, and they identified with the Entrepreneurial Personality Type and it changed their lives just listening to that presentation. That might sound like an exaggeration, but that presentation at Genius changed my life. And for years people have been asking to go back to the very beginning of the podcast and re-record the Entrepreneurial Personality Type episodes. This is crucially important content for anybody who's an entrepreneur to understand and to be able to create more momentum in our lives, to understand ourselves better, to move things forward, to understand how we react to the world as entrepreneurs. Now, I share this episode with gratitude and with excitement and with everything that I've learned since I first introduced this all the way back in 2015. Ready for more? 874 - True Visionary CEO

I had a conversation at my event recently with an off-the-charts visionary about how frustrated he was that the people around him didn't see what he saw. I know this feeling. I've struggled with it most of my life. Like all visionaries, I'm part of that small percentage of people that goes into the future, create a new reality, come back to the present, and demand that it becomes real. And like all visionaries, I've struggled most of my life to communicate what I see in that future. And for most of my career, this led to frustration and resentment of the people around me. The future was so real to me, so clear, so compelling. It just didn't make sense that they didn't see it as I did. What I've learned over time is that uncommunicated expectations lead to predetermined resentments. I also learned that it is my responsibility, my life's work, to help everyone around me see what I see. To communicate in a way that I am heard. To translate my vision into an actual plan that the people around me believe in and know they can execute. Once I understood this, everything in my life got easier. But it's never easy. Don't let anybody tell you that it is. If you are a visionary running a company, this is one of the foundational principles of how you will create the life, income, impact, and business you want. 869 - Billionaire Principles for Success (Part two)

Individually self-made billionaires look fundamentally different. When we compare one against the other, it's hard to see what makes them similar, and easy to see what makes them eccentric and unique. Through obsessive research of successful people throughout history, I developed the 10 Habits of the Self Made Billionaire. I was able to confirm and get even closer to the results these patterns created in my professional career when I worked side-by-side with and consulted with individuals who went from somewhat humble beginnings to 10 figure wealth and massive contribution. The secret is, self-made billionaires are just like you and I, only with the habits that create success. The good news is, you can adopt these habits as well, and you don't have to be a billionaire. 868 - Time Blocks, Blind Spots, and Integrators v. Operators

Welcome to The Momentum Podcast. In this episode, we'll explore the key strategies for maximizing productivity and ensuring success in today's fast-paced business world. This episode was created from a live Q&A inside of the Simple Operations Facebook community, held by Alex every Thursday, and hosted by community manager Yhennifer Santos.   If you'd like to join one of these Q&A's live, they're hosted every Thursday at simpleoperations.com/community. Join now and submit your questions for this week's conversation. Win the morning to win the day. By planning and identifying your top three priorities in the morning, you set yourself up for a successful day. There are several blind spots that entrepreneurs often overlook when building remote teams of 1 to 5 people. Having an operating system in place, emphasizing quarterly planning, documenting processes, and fostering clear communication can help you overcome them. Many entrepreneurs resist structure and routine, but that implementing an operating system can significantly reduce anxiety, build trust within the team, and drive productivity. We'll also touch on the difference between an integrator and an operator within a company's organizational structure. We'll explain how an operator runs the system, ensuring that even if they are unavailable, the company's processes continue to function smoothly. This reduces the risk associated with relying solely on an individual to manage operations. Ready for more? If you are going to reach your full potential, both are required for your success. 860 - Entrepreneurs and 'Fight, Flight, Fawn or Freeze'

This podcast talks about how the fight or flight response, which has been expanded to fight, flight, freeze or fawn, can impact entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are physiologically sensitive, momentum-based beings who are highly reactive to constraint. Constraint can show up physiologically when we respond to difficult situations. While this survival mechanism can help entrepreneurs face their fears and succeed, it can also lead to burnout and feeling stuck. Entrepreneurs can get stuck in one of these four responses and remain there, leading them to build a company they don't want to be in.  Each of the four responses can show up in an entrepreneur's language and behavior. In this podcast, you will learn how to deal with these responses and how there is no one thing that can fix everything.

859 - Addicted to Change and Programmed to Accept Failure

It's one of the most difficult realities of being an entrepreneur. In the beginning, when you are responsible for everything, failure becomes just another bump on the way to success. As you grow your business, you come to realize that the habits that you developed as you started your business are going to hold you back from success in the future. Growing a business is the ultimate form of personal development because it requires us to deprogram the mindset that we must change everything in order to be successful, and that creating a winning culture on your team is the only path to long-term success. ABOUT THIS SHOW
