MusicaL Listening

MusicaL Listening. What does that mean exactly? Musicality is Technical and Technique is MusicaL. This is what we must accept if we won't to improve as performers and musicians. This podcast explores the different ways in which we hear and why we sometimes get it wrong and what we can do about it, how we can use our emotions and the power of music to overcome our listening deficits. Musical Listening is about changing the way we hear ourselves to be more powerful and more aware. It is not enough to just listen you must musically listen. This is what musicalistening is all about.

Music and Technique Always Coexist Like DNA, Never Layered - An Interview with Amit Peled

🎶Is there a good time, a better time to start being musical? When are we "off" the hook from learning the "technique"? Is it always the same balance that is balancing that scale or does it ebb and flow depending on where we are in the journey? I sit down with Amit Peled international Soloist and teacher at Peabody conservatory to tackle this and other questions when it comes to listening as professionals. 🎧 Find out more about Amit at https://www.amitpeled.com/ and order his book he speaks about at https://www.ctmclassics.com/store/the-first-hour🎶 Thank you for listening and please leave us a rating and review.
