Life In The Latter Days
The recent murders by Border Patrol/ ICE reminded me of what was happening in this country while I was a little child in the 60's and the early 70's. So I discussed it with Chat gpt. So I ask Chat:4 college students were killed on Kent, Ohio State campus by the Nat'l Guard what year did this happen and were the Nat'l Guard federalized? apparently I'm witnessing the culmination of what was happening across the country while I was a little kid.

Qur’an First Approach vs Colonial Classifications of Creation
By Imam Halim Mustafa El-Bey Indigenous Muslim American Muur Society (IMAMS)In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The Qur’an First Approach reminds us that the Word of Allah is the supreme criterion — not the textbooks, theories, or propaganda of men. When we return to the Qur’an, we find a divine order that is rooted in tawḥīd (Oneness), fiṭrah (natural balance), and mīzān (justice). In contrast, the European colonial project — especially through figures like Carolus Linnaeus, author of Systema Naturae (1735) — imposed a false classification system on creation. Linnaeus began by categorizing plants and animals, but soon extended his so-called “science” to human beings, labeling them by continent and skin color, and assigning traits of intelligence, morality, and civility. This became the seed of scientific racism — a man-made doctrine of white supremacist terrorism that replaced divine truth with human arrogance.

World War III: Governments vs Their People
Across the world, a new kind of war is unfolding — not between nation-states, but between governments and the governed. It is a silent, global rebellion born not of nationalism but of conscience. The battlefield is digital and social; the weapons are truth, exposure, and solidarity.

A Turning Point for the Working Class: What Zohran Mamdani’s Victory Means for America
The election of Zohran Kwame Mamdani as New York City’s new mayor marks more than a political milestone — it signals a shift in the nation’s moral and economic direction. For decades, the working class has watched as wealth concentrated upward, corporate interests dominated policy, and everyday people struggled just to afford rent, food, and healthcare. Mamdani’s victory breaks that pattern.

Mu: The Root of Civilization
All of humanity shares a single origin. Long before the divisions of continents, tribes, or races, there was Mu—the primordial land and the cradle of human consciousness. From Mu came the first communities who lived in harmony with the natural order, who understood the laws of creation, and who cultivated the arts, sciences, and moral codes that became the foundation of civilization.

America: Destiny vs. Fantasy — Every Man Must Return to His Nation
1. Introduction: A Time of Separation and AwakeningThe sacred texts — both Bible and Qur’an — foretell a time when humanity, after centuries of confusion under Babylon’s dominion, would awaken to their true origins. That time is now.The prophets called it “the latter days.” The Qur’an calls it “the return to the truth after misguidance.” We call it the Muurish Awakening — the restoration of divine order, identity, and inheritance after the long night of colonial deception.

From Cairo to Carolina: The Qur’an First Approach and the True Legacy of Islamic Reform
By Imam Halim Mustafa El-Bey | Indigenous Muslim American Muur Society (IMAMS)Throughout history, Allah has raised men and women of courage to awaken the sleeping conscience of their people. When imitation replaces insight and division replaces divine unity, the message of al-Islām—the natural way of harmony and balance—becomes buried beneath centuries of commentary, dogma, and colonial distortion. In the late 19th century, during a time of Western occupation across the Muslim world, two reformers—Jamal al-Din al-Afghani and Muhammad ‘Abduh—called for a return to the Qur’an and the use of reason (‘aql) as the key to reviving the Muslim mind. Their movement, known as Salafiyyah, was not the rigid sectarianism that bears that name today. It was an intellectual liberation rooted in Tawḥīd, the Oneness of Allah, and the unity of the ummah. They stood against blind imitation (taqlīd) of inherited doctrines. They believed that the Book of Allah is a living revelation—sufficient, self-explanatory, and compatible with sound intellect. They sought to reopen the gates of ijtihād, to reawaken the Muslim mind to the same creative energy that built the early civilizations of Islam. This was the original Salafiyyah—a reform of thought, not a policing of behavior; a revival of spirit, not an enforcement of uniformity.Over time, however, the word Salafiyyah was hijacked. What began as a revival of Qur’anic intellect became a movement of narrow literalism and political submission. Funded and exported through petro-kingdoms and state-controlled institutions, modern “Salafism” came to mean blind allegiance to men rather than reflection upon Allah’s words. It promoted sectarian division instead of unity, and silenced spiritual reason in favor of rigid conformity. This was never the way of the Prophets, nor the message of the Qur’an.In our time, a new awakening has begun—the Indigenous Muslim American Muur Society (IMAMS) and its guiding philosophy, the Qur’an First Approach (QFA). Like Afghani and ‘Abduh, we affirm that the Qur’an is the Criterion (al-Furqān) by which all truth is measured. But unlike earlier reformists who operated within the framework of colonial modernity, the QFA goes further: it seeks to decolonize the very foundations of religious identity and restore Islam to its natural, Indigenous roots.QFA is not a new sect or ideology. It is a return to the natural order (al-dīn al-fiṭrah) that the Qur’an describes as the original covenant of all creation. It reminds us that Islam did not begin in Arabia, nor does it belong to any race or sect—it is the divine pattern woven into the very fabric of life.To put the Qur’an first is to remove all intermediaries between the Creator and His creation. It is to read, reflect, and respond to the divine signs in both scripture and nature. It is to reclaim the clarity that Allah Himself promised:“And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to remember—so is there any who will remember?” — Qur’an 54:17Qur’an First. Fitrah Always. No Sects, Just Truth. When “Reform” Became RegressionThe Qur’an First Approach (QFA)

Muurish Perspectives: Trump Signifies the End of U.S. White Settler Colonial Era in America
Introduction: From a Muurish perspective, the history of America has been shaped by Yajuj & Majuj forces—colonial powers of European extraction—oppressing Muurs and other Indigenous peoples. The United States represents the apex of white settler colonialism, built on stolen land, broken treaties, and systemic erasure of Indigenous knowledge. The rise of Donald Trump is a historical marker, signaling not only political instability but the beginning of the end of the settler colonial project. Indigenous prophecies—including those of the Hopi, Anishinaabe, Lakota, and other nations—foretell a period of great purification or “the great purge,” during which oppressive systems collapse and the natural order is restored. These prophecies align with the Qur’anic pattern of Sunnah, whereby civilizations that transgress the limits of justice and Fiṭrah face divine disruption.

How Did Yajuj wa Majuj(Gog & Magog)'s New World Order Supplant the Ancient Muurish World Order?
IntroductionThe Qur’an’s Divine visual description of Yājūj & Mājūj (Gog & Magog) — once restrained behind a barrier until Allah decreed their release — can be understood historically as a symbolic and literal account of how a destructive, expansionist mentality emerged and overturned the long-standing, Qur’an-aligned Muurish order that had governed much of the world with balance. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how that transition unfolded:

From “Black and Proud” to Muurish Awakening: Lessons in Self-Definition
When James Brown released “Say It Loud (I’m Black and I’m Proud)” in 1968, it electrified a generation. At the height of the Civil Rights Movement, the song gave voice to a people who had been told for centuries to be ashamed of their appearance, heritage, and culture. It was a declaration of dignity in a world built to deny it.But in later years, Brown reflected on the song with a more critical eye.

Intersectarian, Not Sectarian: A Qur’an-First Orientation
By Imam Halim Mustafa El-BeyI’ve studied with Sunni scholars, Shi‘a thinkers, Qur’an-focused teachers, and traditional fuqahā’ (Islamic jurists). I’ve also learned from Indigenous elders and seekers of truth from many paths. But I do not follow any group absolutely — I follow Allah, His Book, and the pattern of the Prophets.I describe myself as intersectarian — not sectarian.

The Original Arabs Were Muurs: Reclaiming the True Identity of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and His Companions
IntroductionThere is a widespread misunderstanding—perpetuated by modern media, colonial narratives, and post-prophetic-era admixture—that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were phenotypically similar to modern “Middle Easterners.” In reality, historical, linguistic, and classical Arab sources make it abundantly clear that the original Arabs—including the Prophet (peace be upon him)—were dark-skinned, indigenous people who fit the broader classification of Muurs. In this article, we clarify the linguistic usage of key Arabic terms like abyad, asmar, and akhdar; we examine descriptions from early Islamic and classical sources; and we distinguish between the spiritual identity of the Muurs and the religious-political construct of the Moors.

America at the Crossroads: MAGA, Myth, and the Unfolding of Allah’s Decree
Introduction: A Slogan Beyond Politics"Make America Great Again" (MAGA), the slogan popularized by U.S. President Donald Trump, has sparked intense political and cultural debate. While critics see it as a call to restore white supremacy and colonial nostalgia, and supporters hail it as a cry for national sovereignty, there is another dimension that few have explored: Could MAGA be an unwitting signpost of divine disruption? Could it signal the nearing collapse of a global colonial system that the Qur'an identifies with Gog and Magog (Ya'juj and Ma'juj)? This article explores MAGA not as a campaign, but as a spiritual marker—a sign that the system built on conquest, deception, and exploitation is nearing its divinely appointed end. This piece expands on themes covered in the multi-part series "America: Destiny vs Fantasy", which argues that World War III will not be between nations—but between governments and their own people, as the lies of empire collapse under their own weight.

Is Noble Drew Ali a Prophet in the Same Manner as Muhammad ibn ʿAbdullāh (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam)?
In our journey of spiritual awakening, identity reclamation, and Muurish revival, it is vital that we distinguish between cultural leaders, national reformers, and divinely appointed prophets. Many among our people hold Noble Drew Ali in high esteem—and rightfully so for his work in restoring pride, self-knowledge, and divine purpose among Black and Indigenous Americans. But we must ask with clarity and sincerity: Is Noble Drew Ali a prophet in the same manner as the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ibn ʿAbdullāh (ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam)? To answer this, we must define what it means to be a "prophet" (nabī) in the Qur’anic sense—not just by title or reverence, but by function, mission, revelation, and divine appointment.

Why I Follow the Qur'an First
Why I Follow the Qur'an FirstOnce I became more proficient in Arabic and returned to the Qur’an with fresh eyes, I realized something unsettling yet eye-opening:Many Muslims don’t actually read the Qur’an as their primary guide. Most are immersed in books of hadith, schools of thought, and inherited traditions—often without critically comparing them to Allah’s clear words. The more I studied the Qur’an for myself, the more I saw that Allah’s Book is fully detailed (6:114–115), the best ḥadīth (39:23), and the only revelation we are commanded to follow unconditionally (7:3).I also noticed that terms like “sunnah” and “ḥadīth” do appear in the Qur’an—but never in the way Muslims today use them. The Qur’an speaks of the Sunnah of Allah—the unchanging way He deals with nations. It refers to itself as the best hadith—a unique and unmatched discourse. So I began asking:Why would we center our religion around human narrations—collected over 200 years after the Prophet—when we have the direct speech of Allah in our hands? That’s not a rejection of the Prophet ﷺ. Quite the opposite—I believe that if we truly love and honor the Messenger, we must follow the message he was entrusted with. And that message is the Qur’an.I don’t claim perfection. I’m still learning. But I’m committed to what Allah said plainly:“This is a blessed Book We have revealed. So follow it…”(6:155)I choose to follow Allah’s revelation as my foundation—not out of arrogance or rebellion—but out of trust in His words. And I still love and respect all my brothers and sisters, no matter where they are on their journey.

Clarifying the Muurish Awakening vs the MSTA (Moorish Science Temple of America)
Many people confuse the Muurish Awakening—rooted in the Qur’an, historical migrations from Mu, and the global legacy of indigenous Muurs—with the teachings of the Moorish Science Temple of America (MSTA), founded by Noble Drew Ali in the early 20th century. It is essential to understand their differences

The Role of Hadith in a Qur'an-First Approach (QFA)
Masjid Al-Bayyinah / IMAMS Position Paper"The Qur'an tells us what to do. The Prophet's example (uswatun hasanah) shows us how to do it. Hadiths are historical records of that 'how' — beneficial, but fallible."This principle guides the Qur'an-First Approach (QFA) adopted by Masjid Al-Bayyinah and the Indigenous Muslim American Muur Society (IMAMS). We uphold the Qur'an as the direct, unaltered word of Allah, while recognizing the Prophet Muhammad (ص) as a living example of Qur'anic practice. Hadith literature, though valuable, is a human effort to capture this practice after the Prophet's lifetime.Guiding Philosophy

Why I reject Sectarianism in Islam
Islam was never meant to be divided. Yet what do we find today? Sects upon sects, each claiming to be "the saved group," while branding others as misguided. This book is my journey out of that confusion—a rejection of sectarian Islam and a return to the pure, unifying message of the Qur'an.I am not a Sunni. I am not a Shi’i. I am not Sufi, Salafi, or affiliated with any school of thought. I am simply a Muslim. I am a follower of the dīn al-ḥaqq as revealed in the Qur'an, which is the only fully preserved and divinely sanctioned source of guidance for mankind.
