In this episode we do a deep dive into some of the health considerations of flying and tips on how to avoid falling ill. We look at some general tips for health and safety on both short and long haul flights. We also explore some more serious impacts that long haul flights in particular can have: Deep Vein Thrombosis. We explain why flying can cause it, review some of the at risk groups as well as the symptoms that one might expect to see. Much of the same causes for DVT can also affect those who may suffer from Gout. 

In this episode we explore some of the more remote and diverse destinations in Portugal. Some are more well known than others while some remain as hidden gems to be discovered.
