A 21st Century view on being Indian American. Growing up I had 2 lives, the American me at school and the Indian me at home. It didn't help that I grew up in a place where the only other Indians at my school and family friends. A few years ago and to this day I find new ways to blend the two. Let's discuss the misconceptions, the myth, unlearn the thing we were told about what we have to do, learn the core of our culture, history, religion and have a better understanding of who we are, together.
