Tia Lenay (Winfree) was born and raised in the Mecca of New York City, Harlem. As an adolescent, Tia went to a Performing Arts Junior High School and was surrounded by artists most of her life, starting with her grandmother, June Tyson, who was the lead singer and only female in the renowned band, Sun Ra Orchestra. Currently, Tia resides in New Jersey with her 13-year-old daughter, Summer. Tia is adored for her great sense of humor and witty personality. With an older and two younger brothers, men encompassed Tia. As a result, Tia is not afraid to be aggressively opinionated while keeping a smile and remaining humble.
