At the end of our last episode, we started to discuss how at some point the mentorship conversation changes. We're no longer the people looking for introductions. We're the people making them. We're no longer looking for advice. We're being asked to give it. And while that's a privilege, it also raises some interesting questions about access, opportunity, responsibility, and community. So in this episode we are talking about what it means to pay it forward. How do we raise others and our community to succeed and find themselves in the way we sometimes wish we were guided by other Latine voices.

Last episode we talked about identity and navigating different spaces. In this episode, we're talking about the people who influenced us along the way. Let’s talk about our mentors! The people who challenged us, encouraged us, inspired us, showed us what was possible, or shaped how we see the world. Because none of us got here entirely on our own.We have surprising outcomes of who really were our mentors and why that was - it's not always professional workplace mentorship but it certainly was influential.

We’re back with our second ever episode! Today we’re doing a deeper dive into Latine identity and specifically how it shows up in the workplace. If you joined us last time, you know that Gracie, Paolo, and Adelina are all connected because they were part of a very small group of Latine employees at a renowned fund management organization. It’s because of our shared experiences that we even thought to start this podcast in the first place. So what better topic to really kick things off with!Do you feel seen at work?
