by Adelina, Gracie, and Paolo
Nuestros Caminos — Heritage, Humor, and Rising in the Windy CityChicago raised us, our culture shaped us, and we've got a lot to say about both.Nuestros Caminos is a Spanglish-flavored podcast hosted by three Latines navigating life, identity, and community in one of the most vibrant cities in America. We're not here to have all the answers; we're here to explore the questions our communities have been sitting with for generations: Where did we come from? What did we carry with us? What are we building now? From the neighborhoods that made us to the tables where decisions get made without us — we talk about it all. With heart, humor, and zero thought police energy. Each episode digs into the Latine experience in Chicago; our influence, our stories, our struggles, and our wins. Sometimes we bring in guests who add fuel to the conversation.Si eres de aquí — or you just wish you were — pull up a chair. Nuestros caminos

Paying it Forward
At the end of our last episode, we started to discuss how at some point the mentorship conversation changes. We're no longer the people looking for introductions. We're the people making them. We're no longer looking for advice. We're being asked to give it. And while that's a privilege, it also raises some interesting questions about access, opportunity, responsibility, and community. So in this episode we are talking about what it means to pay it forward. How do we raise others and our community to succeed and find themselves in the way we sometimes wish we were guided by other Latine voices.

Mentorship, Influence & The People Who Shape Us
Last episode we talked about identity and navigating different spaces. In this episode, we're talking about the people who influenced us along the way. Let’s talk about our mentors! The people who challenged us, encouraged us, inspired us, showed us what was possible, or shaped how we see the world. Because none of us got here entirely on our own.We have surprising outcomes of who really were our mentors and why that was - it's not always professional workplace mentorship but it certainly was influential.

Identity & Professional Spaces
We’re back with our second ever episode! Today we’re doing a deeper dive into Latine identity and specifically how it shows up in the workplace. If you joined us last time, you know that Gracie, Paolo, and Adelina are all connected because they were part of a very small group of Latine employees at a renowned fund management organization. It’s because of our shared experiences that we even thought to start this podcast in the first place. So what better topic to really kick things off with!Do you feel seen at work? Are you able to be your authentic self in the workplace? How does tokenism affect us? What helped us excel in our careers?Listen in and join in on the conversations on our social feeds - we would love to hear your perspectives.
