Audio cassette recordings of interviews and songs from Australia's first Gay Musical by Alex Harding. Number 10 in The Guardians Top 15 Australian Musicals 2022. Featuring Jacqy Phillips: David Campbell: Garry Scale: Anthony Cogin and Jason Langley: From the original cast recording: At The Stables Theatre, scenes from the musical : Steve Kidd: Paul Hunt: James Bean: John Turnbull: and Jacqy Phillips. When Alex passed away I discovered these cassettes in his belongings. They are a part of Gay History and his history and I had to do something with them. I imagine him sitting over the radio and pressing record and play on a tiny cassette player. The Audio quality is not brilliant and I am no expert, but I hope this gives you a glimpse into the play and how important it was to share these recordings. I am incredibly proud of what he achieved in his life and this is my homage to him. I miss you darling bro x
