    In this episode of Operation History, Lauren, Maria, and David discuss some Environmental History. David tells the story of the 1996 oil spill in Rhode Island and how it affected the environment, economics, and the future of the affected area. Dave also brings light to the legislature and nonprofit organizations that made efforts and attempts to clean up the area.
