Out to Africa: Adventures on the Continent with Sam Moffett
by Sam Moffett
Hi everybody. My name is Sam Moffett, I am a portly DJ and Learning Support Assistant based in Brighton UK. But not for long; I just got a volunteer job for a non-government organisation working off the coast of Kenya with whales and dolphins! In this podcast series I am going to record my trip and attempt to cover what happens when you (attempt to) do a Marine Conservation job from a standing start with absolutely no experience whatsoever. Ups, downs, and, I suspect a lot of squeaking and clicking. Music for this podcast series is kindly supplied by Giles Wood & Moonbeam JonesI hope you enjoy it! Sam Hosted on Acast. Episode 3
Hello! Episode 3 of my African Adventure Podcast. In this episode: we go to Lamu Island Cultural Festival, and get involved in a Dhow race, a donkey race and a go on the greasy pole (ooooOOO missus). Then, what does a DJ do when a monkey nicks his headphones? After that, on to Nairobi to go record shopping, and digging in the crates with a serious dealer (of records..). Hosted on Acast.
