Sussex based Audio Designer Paul James invites his guests to do some crate-digging through his eclectic vinyl collection, choosing a handful of tunes which resonate with them. Guests from the worlds of art, politics, television, music, literature, comedy, cuisine and psychotherapy share their stories and talk life, loves, addictions, compulsions, creativity, music, the good times and the bad.

    Joanne Briggs - author of 'The Scientist Who wasn't there' chats to Paul about this fantastic book and a world of science fiction, the Space Age, Roger Moore, snakes & toads, magic, deception and loss. Joanne chose the following music: The Temptations 'Papa was a rolling stone'; John Barry 'Theme from The Persuaders'; Frank Sinatra 'I thought about you'; Astrud Gilberto 'How insensitive'; Grace Jones 'La Vie en Rose'; Prince 'If I was your girlfriend' and.....a record I don't actually have but I wish that I did - Danny La Rue's cover version of a 1920's standard 'Don't bring Lulu'.
