I felt it. And I couldn’t pretend anymore. It started with a little spy mission — just me and my girl hiding in the shadows of an incomplete washroom. It was supposed to be a joke, a laugh, a peek. But life had other plans. I got pulled out. Exposed. Caught in the act. And instead of laughing or ignoring me, He stood up. With food. For ME. He walked to where I was and said, “Collect.” Just like that. No hesitation. No fear. No shame. That was the loudest whisper I’ve ever heard. He didn’t say “I like you” — but he didn’t have to. His actions screamed it. And then… A grade 5 boy — bless his little heart — said what no one else would: “This one deɛ, true love.” Like... what?!? 😭💘💘 Did today just become my soft launch into something real? I didn’t even eat the food — but somehow, I’m full of feelings. He didn’t need to confess with words. His silence fed me more than any sentence ever could. So yeah… I’m glowing.
