    Phases of a Clinical Trial

This is the 5th in a series of podcasts specifically dedicated to how good clinical research on pharmaceutical products is planned, conducted, analyzed and approved. Given the recent Plandemic (not a typo), and Covid-19 "vaccine" rollout including mandates for people to either get vaxed or lose their jobs, livelihoods, and in some cases, their families and businesses, this series is designed to educate people on the process of clinical research - how a new drug gets to market, so that they could make more informed decisions about what they will and will not choose to put in their bodies. The Pharmaceutical Research Process is a complex one, made up of IV Phases to determine safety and efficacy of a new drug. In this episode we will be discussing the phases of a clinical trial, after the animal testing, and after the Protocol and Informed Consent is reviewed and approved by an ethics committee for human participants, and how a drug moves through the process to approval.  A drug goes through a series of Phases before it is submitted for a New Drug Application to the FDA. After animal testing, the new drug (usually identified only as a number), is first tested in normal, healthy, male (usually) volunteers (Phase 1), then tested in patients with the disease state the drug is designed to treat (Phase 2), further testing in a larger population of patients with more complex medical history (Phase 3), and post marketing (Phase 4). https://www.linkedin.com/in/b-michele-commins-2a07715/Please visit my website to learn more as well as what you can do to decrease or eliminate the need for toxic pharmaceuticals. When is it Time to Pivot?

Individually and collectively, when do we need to make a different choice?  “Sometimes we’re pushed into directions we ought to have found for ourselves” – a line I heard in a movie that speaks to when it may be time to pivot; to change something up that you may have been avoiding.  Based on a blog I recently wrote, Michele and I will be talking more about this and how we have both had to pivot at different times in our lives and how it played out.  The last four years of the Covid shenanigans have certainly showed us, (rather, imposed on us) the need to pivot. The strain that the plan-demic put on people due to losses of jobs, businesses, families, and health felt insurmountable in some instances. But what are the choices when that happens?  We invite you to take on a new perspective when the unexpected occurs where you can find the blessing and the courage to take a step in a new direction.https://www.linkedin.com/in/b-michele-commins-2a07715/https://vedicalchemy.org/pharma-to-dharmahttps://vedicalchemy.org/blog-1/f/when-is-it-time-to-pivothttps://vedicalchemy.org/resourceshttps://vedicalchemy.org/products-%26-faqs

Part 4 - The Nuts & Bolts of a Clinical Trial

This is the 4th in a series of podcasts specifically dedicated to how good clinical research on pharmaceutical products is planned, conducted, analyzed and approved. Given the recent Plandemic (not a typo), and Covid-19 "vaccine" rollout including mandates for people to either get vaxed or lose their jobs, livelihoods, and in some cases, their families and businesses, This series was created to educate people on the process of clinical research - how a new drug gets to market, so that they could make more informed decisions about what they will and will not choose to put in their bodies. The Pharmaceutical Research Process is a complex one, made up of IV Phases to determine safety and efficacy of a new drug. In this 4th Episode we'll be discussing all of the components that go into developing a study protocol, case report forms  and what is put into place so that protocol is followed. https://www.linkedin.com/in/b-michele-commins-2a07715/https://vedicalchemy.org/pharma-to-dharmahttps://vedicalchemy.org/resourceshttps://vedicalchemy.org/products-%26-faqshttps://vedicalchemy.org

Part 3 - The Pharmaceutical Research Process

This is the third in a series of podcasts specifically dedicated to how good clinical research on pharmaceutical products is planned, conducted, analyzed and approved. Given the recent Plandemic (not a typo), and Covid-19 "vaccine" rollout including mandates for people to either get vaxed or lose their jobs, livelihoods, and in some cases, their families and businesses, I wanted to create a series that would educate people on the process of clinical research - how a new drug gets to market, so that they could make more informed decisions about what they will and will not choose to put in their bodies. The Pharmaceutical Research Process is a complex one, made up of IV Phases to determine safety and efficacy of a new drug. In Episode #3 we will be discussing what happens when an NCE (New Chemical Entity) is identified, after the animal testing, and after the Protocol and Informed Consent is reviewed and approved by an ethics committee for human participants, and how a clinical trial is implemented at participating sites.https://www.linkedin.com/in/b-michele-commins-2a07715/https://vedicalchemy.org/pharma-to-dharmahttps://vedicalchemy.org/resourceshttps://vedicalchemy.org/products-%26-faqshttps://vedicalchemy.org

Part 2 IRBs & Ethics Committees

This is the second in a series of podcasts specifically dedicated to how good clinical research on pharmaceutical products is planned, conducted, analyzed and approved. Given the recent Plandemic and Covid-19 "vaccine" rollout including mandates for people to either get vaxed or lose their jobs, livelihoods, and in some cases, their families, and businesses, I wanted to create a series that would educate people on the process of clinical research - how a new drug gets to market, so that they could make more informed decisions about what they will and will not choose to put in their bodies. Informed Consent is the first and most important part of the process given that patients were basically put in a drug study without their informed consent if they took the Covid-19 "vaccine". Episode #2 is on IRBs and Ethics Committees which is the second most important part of the process of Clinical Research where an independent body of people review the study protocol, Informed Consent, and Investigator’s Brochure for ethics and inclusion of key elements and determines approval to enroll patients so their safety is guarded and rights are not violated.https://www.linkedin.com/in/b-michele-commins-2a07715/https://vedicalchemy.org/resourceshttps://vedicalchemy.org/products-%26-faqshttps://vedicalchemy.org
