In our fifth edition of our EP series, we have brought to you: - Moth's track 'Fernery' which makes use of manipulated piano recordings, electrical noise and melted tape to create a surreal soundscape like an old IBM computer melting in the summer sun inside a glass house filled with ferns; - the psychedelic adventure in the colourful landscape of 'Vongo Dury' is a mish-mash of improvised, one-take recordings courtesy of 3-piece psychonautic instrumentalists, Fractal Attack Mollusc. 'Vongo Dury' itself is eclipsed only by the 'Subaquatic Coneripper dub' version that comes with it's own warning (watch the volume, protect your speakers!); - DJ Speedbump's fusion of Chicago ghetto, Juke, broken beats and tempo that makes for a taxi ride going 60 past a 'twentys plenty' sign in 'Youuuu' and 'Lovely Drunk YO'; - and Aidrian Novion's 'Ulagadale' which is a synthesised polyrhythmic delight: a product of a series of web-based DAWs and apps that makes use of vintage sounding samples. . . .
