Pigg Enterprises Scoreboard Show

Doug and Jake were in studio for the season's final scoreboard show, with each of the three area teams falling in the quarterfinals of the AHSAA playoffs.

Doug and Jake were joined by Alabama Christian Academy head football coach Michael Summers as the trio went through the results of the first round of the state playoffs. Among the coaches appearing on the show were Ethan McBride, Granger Shook, Brian Seymore, Jeremy Vines and Kyle Caldwell.

The final regular season scoreboard show originated from 17 Springs in Millbrook, where Stanhope Elmore won its seventh game of the season heading into the 6A state playoffs.

Doug and Jake were at the Wetumpka Sports Complex for the Elmore County rivalry game between Stanhope Elmore and Wetumpka, with the Mustangs scoring in the final minute to win. SE head coach Hunter Adams joined the show, as did other coaches throughout the night.

Doug and Jake were on location for Alabama Christian Academy's home victory over Slocomb, and were joined by special guests Jerry Beasley, Josh Roberts, Greg Glenn and Ron Ingram. ACA's Michael Summers was the first coach on the show, followed by Brian Seymore, Jonathan Chandler, Granger Shook, Bear Woods and Hunter Adams.

Doug was in Auburn and Jake was in the studio for their weekly look at a Friday night of high school football action, with score updates and coach interviews highlighting the show.

Doug and Alvin Briggs kept the scores coming from the studio, also talking to coaches Granger Shook, Mario White, L.A. O'Neal, Ethan McBride, Jonathan Chandler and Michael Summers. (The audio recording malfunctioned Friday night, thus 30 minutes of the program was not available.)

United States Senator Katie Britt and her husband Wesley Britt, a former Alabama football All-American, joined Doug and Jake on Friday night's Pigg Enterprises Scoreboard Show.

Doug and Jake were at The Montgomery Academy for state-ranked battle of unbeatens, with Luverne battling the Eagles in a classic showdown. Joining Doug were Ethan McBride, Wright Ward and John McWilliams from MA, and United States Senator Katie Britt and her husband Wesley Britt - a former four-year starter along the offensive line at Alabama.

Doug and Jake were in the studio Friday night, visiting with nine victorious coaches as the high school football season reached the halfway point.

Doug was joined by Jake Farmer and Alvin Briggs from the Alabama Christian-Trinity game, played at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium at Faulkner University. Guests included Greg Glenn, Buddy Bell, Josh Roberts, Aaron Greenwood, Michael Summers and Brian Seymore. Other coaches joining the show were Shane Moye, Hunter Adams, Bobby Carr, Granger Shook, Ethan McBride, Kyle Caldwell and Jonathan Chandler.

Doug and Jame were at new-look Stanley-Jensen Stadium for Prattville's region battle with Oak Mountain. Joining the guys were Prattville Parks and Rec Director Kellie Cook, the "Voice of the Lions" Will Barrett, Head Football Coach Bobby Carr, Director of Athletics Blake Boren and school Principal Daniel Farris.

Doug and Jake were back in the studio on a rainy Friday evening, updating River Region scores and those from around the state. The pair also visited with seven coaches from the area in the last weekend of non-region games.

Doug and Jake were at Hilyer Stadium for Alabama Christian Academy's second round 3A playoff game against Bayside Academy updating scores from a busy Friday night, and welcomed in winning coaches Kirk Johnson from Catholic, Granger Shook from Pike Road and L.A. O'Neal from Tallassee.

Doug and Jake were at Pike Road for the Patriots' opening round playoff game against Bessemer City.

Doug was joined by former Auburn stud Alvin Briggs as the show originated from a city rival game - Montgomery Academy vs. Alabama Christian. Many coaches visited with the pair as playoff positioning began to take focus.

Doug and Jake were at the Wetumpka Sports Complex for the show, with the Indians grabbing a key region victory over Park Crossing. WInning coachs from around tri-county area joined the show as high school football inches closer and closer to the post-season.

Doug & Jake were at Alabama Christian Academy for the Eagles' region battle with Houston Academy, and welcomed in ACA head coach Michael Sommers and players Cooper Milner and AC Walters. Winning coaches from around the River Region also hopped on the show, which included score updates throughout.

Doug and Jake were at Trinity for the Wildcats' 28-7 victory over St James ... joining the two on the show were Trojan director of athletics Larry Ware, Dr Perry Hooper of Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons, Trinity head coach Brian Seymore, and players Luke Hall, Fleming Hall and John Morris.

Doug and Jake were at Montgomery Catholic for the Knights' region battle against Charles Henderson, and welcomed in victorious coaches from their Friday nights.

Doug was joined by Charlie Trotman Jr in the studio and the two updated scores, visited with callers and victorious coaches in the fourth week of high school football in the River Region and beyond.

Doug and Jake were at the Wetumpka Sports Complex for the Indians' matchup with Russell County, and were joined by a host of Wetumpka and Elmore County dignitaries and River Region coaches.

Doug and Jake were at the Stanhope Elmore-Prattville showdown in Millbrook and were joined by Elmore County leadership, including Mayor Al Kelly, County Commission Chairman Bart Mercer, Elmore County School Board members David Jones and Bill Myers, Stanhope principal Ewell Fuller, and Elmore County COO Richie Beyer. In addition, Prattville radio analyst Chip Powell, Stanhope head coach Hunter Adams and the Mustangs radio voice Dylan Larck.

Doug and Jake were back for the first show of the season, broadcasting from the studio and updating all the games. Nine coaches joined the pair on the show.

Doug was joined by Jake Farmer at Pike Road for the Patriots' regular-season finale against Booker T. Washington, a game won by Granger Shook's team 29-16. Pike Road players Malik Blocton, Drew Britton and Ced Foster joined the show, as did Coach Shook. Also checking in were Pike Road mayor Gordon Stone, town couincilwoman Angie Bradsher Patriots' PA announcer Jason Isbell and Pike Road High School principal Andrea Maness.

Doug was joined by Jake Farmer at Faulkner University for Alabama Christian Academy's 54-34 victory over Southside Selma. It was a night of huge region games, with Catholic beating Andalusia 27-14 in a battle of unbeatens and Pike Road knocking off Carver 43-22. The guys heard from ACA head coach Michael Summers, and players Jackson Burton and William Milner, as well as Catholic coach Kirk Johnson and Pike Road coach Granger Shook. Montgomery Academy coach Ethan McBride also joined the show after his Eagles earned a playoff spot with a win.

Doug and Jake Farmer were at Montgomery Catholic for the show and witnessed the Knights record their sixth shutout victory in a row, blasting Dale County 63-0. The pair talked with a number of guests - Catholic head coach Kirk Johnson, star quarterback Caleb McCreary, director of athletics Daniel Veres, radio color analyst Mike Castanza and school president Justin Castanza. ACA's Michael Summers checked in via phone and discussed his team's victory.

Doug Amos was joined by Jake Farmer and Charlie Trotman Jr at Carlisle Field on the campus of Saint James School, where the Trojans beat Trinity 47-8 for the region championship. Joining the guys on the show were AHSAA executive director Alvin Briggs, retired STJ head coach and hall of famer Jimmy Perry and STJ director of athletics Katie Barton. Following the Trojans victory, head coach Neal Posey, linebacker Wils Johnson, wide receiver Tabor Offord and quarterback KJ Jackson were also guests on the program.

Doug was joined by Jake Farmer for the show originating from Trinity Presbyterian's homecoming game against Marbury, won by the Wildcats 41-14. Trinity head coach Brian Seymore joined the show, as did Trinity players Ross Sanders, Webber McClinton, Winston Phillips and Dalton Gaston. Other area coaches also checked in, including ACA's Michael Summers, Catholic's Kirk Johnson, PCA's Norman Dean and Wetumpka's Bear Woods.

Doug was joined by Clay Sharpe as the show originated from Hooper Academy for their homecoming game against Crenshaw. Colt head coach Marty Baker joined the show, as did many coaches of winning teams Friday night. Hooper headmaster Darryl Free and volleyball coach Jessi Hayes.

The trio visited with Walker and Webber McClinton after the big Trinity victory, as well as ACA head coach Michael Summers. Other coaches checked in as well to offer thoughts on their respective games.

Alabama High School Sports Hall of Famer Jimmy Perry joined Doug for the show broadcast from the Pike Road-Wetumpka game at the Wetumpka Sports Complex. The pair visited with coaches and gave score updates from around the state.

The Trio visited with Montgomery Catholic head coach Kirk Johnson and Trinity head coach Brian Seymore, with both teams moving to 2-0 on the season. Wildcat players Ross Sanders and Walker McClinton both joined the show as well. In addition Enterprise head coach Ben Blackmon was a guest, talking about his fifth-ranked Wildcats' road win over second-ranked Auburn in a Class 7A classic.
