Pit-Homers

With the final game of the regular season over the Steelers lost to the Ravens to finish 8-8. We look back on the rainy game and reflect on this rollercoaster season. We then look ahead to the off-season move we hope the team makes. We also got some bad/good Penguins injury news. We will be taking a little break but will be back in a few weeks.

Rob and Steve recap the loss to the Bills (17-10) on SNF. Who takes the blame? How does Duck respond, and does he have a short leash for mistakes like Rudolph? Looking ahead to the Jets match up with predictions and still holding on hope for the 6th seed in the playoffs. Penguins get 2 starters back and Crosby update. We talk about who the starting goalie should be. Pirates make some moves.

Steve and Rob do episode lucky #13 on Friday the 13th and look back on the win against the Cardinals (in what felt like Pittsburgh west). We preview the SNF Bills game and share our keys to winning and our picks. The Pens still have injuries, but keep playing strong. Pirates conclude winter meetings with not much to report on. Marte is still generating interest from clubs.

Rob and Steve bask in the glory of revenge with the Steelers beating the Browns and basically knocking their slim playoff hopes out in the process. While it was nice, the guys move on to preview the Cardinals match-up with keys to win and picks. The Penguins stay strong with all their injuries as well. We take a look at the Pirates' new manager and hope for good things to come.

Steve and Rob look back on the win against the Bengals and all the changes that came from the win. With the Browns up its hard to predict with a new QB under center, but we give it a go anyway. The Pens sure do love going into OT and get some help with some players coming back from injuries!

Steve and Rob talk more about the game @ the Browns and all the issues the offense has more than the fight, crazy, right? With all the injuries we look to see if the Steelers can beat the winless Bengals on the road with or without the wildcat. As for the Pens, the injuries don't stop them from scoring, but it does stop them from winning. Pirates got the same owner, but new people under him. We are cautious, to say the least.

Steelers end homestand with a 3-0 record! beating the Rams. Now they have to leave the comfort of home on a short week to play the browns with injuries still a concern. The injury bug went across the city and into another league as the Pens have 2 big names out, for the time being, but we think they can still play.
