Can you believe it? We're already at episode 10! As Emily and Leah’s time as Head Girls comes to an end, the tables have turned in this special podcast episode. Not only are they being interviewed, but this time the questions are coming from our fantastic junior student, Rosa, alongside previous podcast guest, Saskia.Tune in to hear about everything Leah and Emily have done, learned, and enjoyed during their time as Head Girls at the Abbey.

Our gang of young podcasters at Juniors recorded the latest episode of ‘Podcast with a little cake’ on the subject of activities available to them at school. They spoke about why they enjoy the offering, and their desire to help younger students participate more in lunchtime clubs.

Following in the footsteps of their peers at Seniors, Year 6 students at the Junior School decided to set up a Podcast Club and their first recording is now available to download. Hosted by Mrs Clark, the first ever episode was about Leadership Roles. Podcast With A Cake returns for season 2 with a new panel of guests, and the team talk about the recent passing of Her Majesty The Queen, and discuss how it impacted their generation.

For this special podcast Abbey students were joined by boys from Reading School, and they opened up a debate on Everyone's Invited - a movement that provides a safe place for survivors to share their stories completely anonymously in a mission to expose and eradicate rape culture with empathy, compassion, and understanding.

It was a tearful finale to season one of Podcast With A Cake this week, as the podcasters recorded their final episode before leaving to go on study leave.  It was a time to reflect on their time on the podcast, and they chatted through the highlights and things they learned along the way.

This week's Podcast With A Cake was focused on life after death, and the team tentatively revealed their own thoughts and feelings on the topic. And the team listened intently as a number of them revealed their own personal experiences.
