Life is an adventure to be LIVED! Does that sing to you? I sure hope so! For that pretty much sums up what this podcast is about ;). A loosely scaffolded, multidisciplinary, contemplative and conversational exploration of the magic and mystery that is the human experience; the edges and curves and angles that give our lives, our identities, our being and doing and having and creating shape and form! I/we go where the road takes us :). Expect everything from deep dives into the differences between erotica and smut, to vulnerable soliloquies on self-sabotage to the erogenous zones of entrepreneurship to Bollywood movies to whatever else might show up. Who knows? No theme or topic is off limits here. The intent always though is to Learn, Evolve, Actualize, and Prosper aka LEAP ;). What else can you expect from one such as Vidya? Description: Candid confession: This episode was recorded on September 22. Yep, SEPTEMBER 22. It was "supposed" to be launch day. And it sort of was. My "voice" certainly got launched, even if it didn't make it to the...cloud ;). I know, I know, now you're asking: "Wait a minute! Why is it showing up a MONTH later?" As it turns out...the Universe decided I had to drop a trailer first. And in the event you haven't had the opportunity to listen to the trailer yet, I DO say, every fortnight...ish ;). As it turns out, this podcast is doing her own thing...kind of like her creator, who too dances to her own rhythm and cadence, her own flow. Shouldn't we all? ;). And so, here we are, or rather, you are! Listening as I strip down and share my dance with with doubt, self-sabotage, self-worth, fear...and thanks to compassionate hugs and swift kicks in the butt—metaphorically speaking—take a leap of faith and find my way to the other side. To poetry. Wide Open reminded me that "Uncertainty opens you up to the unexpected." To the reminder that "I AM a storyteller; storytelling and story weaving are in my blood." To the awareness that sometimes we start, then stumble, recenter, then continue on - kind of like a toddler taking her first steps ;). I mark the edge of this episode with another piece of poetry that is title less, though I borrow Lennon's Imagine for now. Help me out will you? I'm open to suggestions :). Thank you!
