Private Reflections
by Nigel Langes
On average, every fortnight three ex-ADF members end their life. As an ex-serviceman and a nurse for 30 years, I want to engage with ex-ADF personnel to share their experiences of serving, and of life after the ADF. I also want to broaden the discussion to engage with families of those who find it too difficult to share their own story; and respectfully with the loved ones of those members who are no longer with us. Every story is important, and I hope in exploring the experiences of others, we can create a support and be the difference to someone who needs to be reminded - they are not alone.
