Danie Raffield is renovating a dream cliff top house in Cornwall, England. It is a once in a lifetime project to make a family home with water views. Artist Arabella Sim is an artist who is classically trained as a painter and draughtsman and studied at Central St Martins. She works with text, performance and sound but her work revolves around the human condition. Exploring our connection to the land and the perpetual cycle of life and death. Freya discovered her exhibition on a weekend in Aldeburgh, Suffolk when she went for a walk on the beach.They chat about her exhibition at the Aldeburgh Beach Lookout Tower in July 2023 and how it came to pass, how she witnessed a merman right before the show and how it brought the community to the beach to experience togetherness, creating and being by the sea. It is a dive into some of the motivation of Arabella's works and how an artist's life chose her, in Paris. Arabella has so many charming stories of her other creations in her life such as a little sketched dragon that she keeps in her desk draw. This is a must listen for any aspiring, empathetic creative souls who also love the sea!

Gemma Cairney is a multi faceted creative who started as a fashion stylist and host on British TV and radio. She became a seasoned author and is relasing a book called 'The Immortal Sisterhood' which is she is now directing in a live show at The Lincoln Center on Friday Jan 17th. They discuss her new project, the inspiration., growing up in England and balancing creativity all amidst a windy storm in seaside town of Margate where Gemma was recording.
