"Gen Z - Finally Getting Some Attention" Communication Matters 3/11/2026
In this episode we wrap up our series on intergenerational communication with Gen Z (we're not ignoring Gen Alpha, they're just not old enough yet). This is a generation that is experiencing a current upheaval similar to what Boomers grew up with, particularly rapidly changing technology, and economic and socio-political uncertainties. They are coming of age and, like all the other generations covered by Communication Matters, misunderstood by those who preceded them. "Value-Based Adaptation to Change" Communication Matters 1/14/2026
Effecting personal change on our own volition and terms is one thing - adapting to external change while adhering to our values is another. Often times, we think of adapting to unexpected change or change beyond our control as something we must do, and all we have to change behavior. That can be an unwelcome and unsustainable ask if we don't consider how the change and adaptation to it connects with our value framework. In this episode we'll explore how to respond to change as it happens, and doing so in consideration of our values, our thinking, and ultimately the behavior that follows.
