Hello, and welcome to Reflexions From The Ranch, Episode #1. On this podcast each week, we’ll look at a variety of subjects, each of them dealing with, you got it...Reflexions on the Word of God. Why Reflexions From The Ranch? Well, that's a funny story and The Ranch happened quite by accident and then as do many such things of happenstance, it stuck. One day I was speaking with someone new and trying to explain where Marylin, my wife and I, live. So, we live out in the country. But we have 25 acres so it's not big enough to be a farm and too big to be yard, so in explaining it to this person, I called it a ranch. Well, my executive pastor and friend, Carlton Gerrell was a part of this conversation and when he heard it, having been to "The Ranch" before, he grabbed on to that description and I haven't lived it down yet.
