    London Mavericks Kit Reveal

    Netball Super League club London Mavericks launched their 2026 season kit. They become the first professional club to launch an inclusive kit for all body types ensuring players feel confident in what they wear on court. Kat got the opportunity to catch up with Assistant Coach Mikki Austin and squad player Vicky Oyesola to find out more about how London Mavericks, with their sponsors and partners, came together to unveil a choice of kit wear including shorts, skorts, leggings and the traditional netball dress.

    What a pleasure to have Debbie Hallas back on the podcast after the news that she would be taking more of a back seat at Manchester Thunder after 17 years.     Hannah Knightbridge

    The Netball Youth World Cup 2025 is taking place in Gibraltar from Friday September 19th until Sunday September 28th.20 teams will compete in this event, as New Zealand look to retain their title from 2017. In that same year, England finished 3rd with their best result of 2nd coming in 1988 and 2005.Hannah Knightbridge will be leading the 2025 team to Gibraltar with the dreams and ability to make history by lifting England's first Youth World Cup Trophy.Before Hannah flew out to Gibraltar, we had the opportunity to sit down and talk about her netball life and how proud she is to be captain of this young England Roses team.

    NSL Squad Announcements - Part 2

    We are back with the second part of our squad announcement debrief. All 8 Netball Super League teams have now confirmed their 10 players for season 2026.     Semi Finals 2025

    Semi Finals weekend and a new format for the Netball Super League this year. The Major Semi Final was between London Pulse and Loughborough Lightning who finished 1st and 2nd in the league. The winner of this game would book their place into the Grand Final at the O2 on July 6th, while the looser would get a second chance to reach that same Grand Final through the Preliminary Final. there opponent being the winner of the Minor Semi Final. The Minor Semi Final was between Manchester Thunder and London Mavericks who finished 3rd and 4th in the league. The loser would be eliminated from the finals series and finish 4th, while the winner would progress to the Preliminary Final where they would meet the loser of the major semi final and a chance to get themselves to the Grand Final.Listen to how the games finished and who ended up at where.     Netball Super Cup 2025

    The Netball Super League 2025 kicks off on Friday March 14th 2025. This year, the Netball Super league (NSL) opened the season with the Super Cup competition at the Utilita Sheffield Arena. All 8 teams took to court for the first time in front of over 7.000 netball fans in a shortened version of the game. 14 minute games and 3 games to get your team into the semi finals with the introduction of the Super Shot, it meant no one was a sure thing.On this episode we discuss the fans views from a spectator at the arena and as a spectator watching from home. There may have been a few issue off the court but, the players were entertaining on the court. We also update our table prediction which we first predicted after squad announcement.

    International Season 2024/2025 Review

    Its been a very long International season which, as we share this episode is still going on with the PacificAus Netball Series in full swing. We look back at the results from the International games which started with the Australian/English Series right through to the Nations Cup with particular focus on the Vitality Roses. It has been a hard season for the players with highs of series wins and becoming World number 2 in the rankings, to the blows of player injuries, series losses as well as dropping to 4th in the World rankings in the blink of an eye.Has this been a successful international season or a season that has gone on for far too long and in the long run, been a detriment to the world position of the Roses? Is the Roses program fit for purpose? And as we move into a new professional era at club level, is allowing clubs to have their international players for 3 weeks pre-season acceptable?
