Zombies! Italians! A Freddy Krueger-like killer that punches a rubber glove clean through women's torsos! Drunk drivers sneaking into bathrooms to stalk women! All these things (and many more) are featured in our episode on George A. Romero's classic Dawn of the Dead and the Claudio Fragasso/Bruno Mattei schlockfest Night Killer. 

Jim and Patrick discuss Takeshi Kitano's existential yakuza drama Sonatine, as well as a sex comedy that might generously be considered "odd." 

Patrick is joined by Godzilla expert Sean to discuss two very different but still memorable sci-fi monster movies. It's Howard Hawks, it's the original clout chaser Nick Adams (not to be confused with Ernest Hemingway's short story protagonist), it's Godzilla, it's Ghidorah (spoilers), it's Rodan, and it's a vegetable monster that requires blood to survive. It's The Thing from Another World and Invasion of Astro Monster aka Godzilla vs. Monster Zero!

Jim watched the wrong Last House on the Left, so we do a little bit of talking about the remake. But it's an iconic rape and revenge movie paired with a movie about a killer cat attacking George Kennedy, with Jim watching the wrong movies. What could go wrong? 

Jim and Patrick discuss two nudity-heavy films in the incredibly controversial Tinto Brass-Malcolm McDowell-Helen Mirren-Peter O'Toole-John Gielgud Italian-American Penthouse Films production Caligula, as well as one of two '80s sex comedies by director David DeCoteau to star the big three scream queens: Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, and Michelle Bauer. 

Patrick is joined by Jared to discuss the erotic thriller Wild Things and the classic '90s slasher Candyman. Finally Tony Todd has a starring role in this podcast, and not just one of his slapped together cameos. 

Two absurdly long titles make for some very entertaining films, as Jim and Patrick watch and discuss the Samurai/ronin/ninja classic Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance, and the Ennio Morricone-scored giallo with an all-star cast (including two and a half Bond girls!!!): Black Belly of the Tarantula. 

Warring martial arts schools, cops vs. gangsters, and the inimitable Jackie Chan. What's not to love in this episode on two Asian action classics - one from Indonesia (though for some reason we say Thailand the entire time), and one from Hong Kong?

Kevin is back, and we get to talk Hitchcock, and Hong Kong movies featuring dummy kids being thrown through windows!
