The Montagues and the Capulets have been enemies for generations, but when their children Romeo and Juliet meet and fall in love, tragedy ensues. This 6-episode series brings Shakespeare’s story to life as a radio drama performed by members of the Great River Shakespeare Festival. This audio experience is designed especially for students and the website includes study materials for use in classrooms. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
