SalesDads 007: Pursuing God & Personal Growth with Taylor Strickland
In this episode my best friend Taylor Strickland shares his approach to balancing his Medical Device sales roll at Boston Scientific with his family life. This episode gets deep quickly. A man of great faith, Taylor discusses how his faith plays a roll in everything he does. Additionally, Taylor shares his idea of having your own board of advisors for life events while also discussing some of the most challenging moments in life such as a young couple experiencing a miscarriage. The strength it takes to share such a personal experience is something I don't think I have in me. I am proud to call Taylor my Brother and he is certainly a member of my board.

SalesDads 006: From College Admissions to ADP Presidents Club with Tyler Werrick
Today I am joined by long time friend Tyler Werrick whom I first met when we both worked as University Admissions Officers right out of college. Tyler is easily everyone's best friend and someone that I have gotten into many sporadic adventures with. Tyler and I discuss the similarities of being University Admissions Officers and being in dedicated sales rolls. We touch on balancing family responsibilities, remaining stoic in tough times, and always feeling behind. (Seems to be a trend amongst driven personalities) Towards the later part of our conversation, we recount the most unique drinking story of my life. The night in question leads us to finding the most unique tattoo I have ever seen while simultaneously being passed a note inviting us to an NFL scouts home in the middle of the night. This gets interesting! This was such a fun one to record and I can't wait to have Tyler back on for one of our upcoming "Boiler Room" episodes. Enjoy the program and always use your time!

SalesDads: 005 Mixing Love, Oil Fracking, and Cow Pies with Luke Welty
Today I am joined by Luke Welty, a Service Leader for Liberty Oilfield Services. Luke shares what lead him to start working in the Oil Field and how his life as a husband and father has developed since that time. Balancing life as an oil field supervisor with a family is something that most will never understand the difficulties of. 20 hour days back to back? Yes, Luke has done more than he can count. This is the most honest conversation I have had in a long time. Luke talks about his passion for his family and how his job has created conflict with his family life at certain times in his career. More importantly he discusses how he and his wife have constantly worked to prioritize each other with their schedules being so unique. This is a conversation everyone should pay attention to and realize what real relationships look like, instead of letting social media fool you. Luke and his wife are the definition of hard working Americans. Its an honor to know them and count them as friends. #sales #oil #fracking #marriage #worklifebalance #parenting #dad #useyourtime #time

SalesDads 004: Tyler Theune
Today, I am joined by my long time friend Tyler Theune. Tyler's skillset at relationship development is uncanny. So much so that he was put in charge of a territory expansion by his company and created an $8-9 million revenue funnel in 18 months. Tyler and his wife recently welcomed their first child and are starting to break out into the world again as first time parents. (Nothing like it Brother!) I think everyone can relate to Tyler in someway or another. His value for other's success is evident in how he coaches his sales team. Tyler appreciates what time means and I consider it an honor that I have gotten to spend so much time with him over the years. I think you will really enjoy this one. Please leave your welcoming comments to Tyler in the comments section and be sure to toggle the subscribe button so you don't miss out on future conversations.

SalesDads 002: Step Back and Look Around
It's easy to get caught up in the pull that is the sales machine and all to often we fail to take a step back and look around. When is the last time you looked at the stars? Start taking time for yourself. 5 -10 minutes is enough to help reset you and allow you to give 100% to your family and your job when it matters most. * Camera angle will be fixed in the future...I took what time I had for today's program and creating a perfect height for the camera wasn't in the cards.
