    Ben Ridley stepped into the seat vacated by J-Mac this week. He had one thing to do too, the Millewa footy ladder which didn't quite go to plan.     The boys cast their eyes over last weekend's Round 3 Sunraysia Footy action. Slammer couldn't help himself either potting Imperials President Dale Stafford after the Green Machine came up short against his beloved Bulldogs. J-Mac brought us up to speed with a good old-fashioned head count out in the Sunraysia Women's Football League.     Another busy show this week. The boys had a look back at last weekend's Round 2 Sunraysia Footy action. Sammy pushed through with the A Grade Netball results despite having a tricky ladder thrown at him. J-Mac had all of the Millewa news, while it was a question of love when it came to the all-new Ask Sammy segment.     The boys are back at HOT HQ this week, feeling their way through the move into Studio 1. There’s a quick look back at the season opener between the Swallows and the Bulldogs on Good Friday.     The boys went above and beyond for the final show of the 2025 season. This 60 minute extravaganza featured a recap of last weekend’s SFNL Prelim Final action, plus all the gloss from Monday night’s McLeod Medal count. Sam, J-Mac & Patty tried to sell us on exactly who takes out the Grand Final, Irymple or Mildura.     Sammy came racing out of the blocks for the second last show of the season. Straight up he was into J-Mac for running his car battery flat at last weekend's Millewa Grand Final out at the Lake. Then Patty was in the gun after someone had texted in telling him to take his red & blue glasses off when calling Mildura games. J-Mac recovered enough to give us his full wrap of what turned out to be a bumper Millewa Grand Final Day.     Sammy was really keen to bring something to the table this week, bringing in 5 pages of match-ups and analysis. Did he make an impact? Well, we'll leave that up to you... The boys covered off on Week 1 of the SFNL Finals Series, the Red Cliffs double-overtime win in the A Grade Netball a major highlight. Walks may have even backed Werrimull to knock over Bambill in the big one too!     Triple points round on the tipping last weekend proved to be a bonanza for J-Mac who is now 9 points clear on top of the table. Sammy & Patty had their pants pulled down after revisiting their picks for the SFNL Top 5 from way back in April. The big Millewa Footy Second-Semi boil over was a big talking point too. The boys were confident though that the previously undefeated Cardross can bounce back in the Preliminary Final this weekend.     First up the boys addressed some incoming feedback on Beau Riordan's guest spot from the show last week. They then went about looking to cash in on Triple Points Round ahead of the final home and away games of the 2025 SFNL season.     Sammy was up and about letting everyone know that his e-bike was back on the road. The big fella also gave us a detailed run down of the SFNL Seniors ladder as we look ahead to the finals. Patty had a shocker playing the wrong intro out of the half-time break and J-Mac flashed us back to some of the premiership heroes who played in the last Cardross flag back in 1972.     It was Snowballs all round for the Sammy Smythe Footy Show team this week. Sammy questioned the absence of a popular Red Cliffs spearhead, while alerting us to the fact that it might be a busy weekend for the Robinvale Euston Eagles. J-Mac broke another big Cardross Lions story, something about a time capsule from 1982?     Buoyed by his award-winning comeback, Sammy delivered the goods this week. Not only did he break the story about Demon Tanner Deckert’s suspension, but he also let us know about Wenty’s Wade Hancock getting down on one knee to pop the question. JMac continued to stir things up on the Cardross Lions front. Where will it end?     The big fella bounced back strongly after being struck down by a bout of man flu last week. A quick refresh of the SFNL Round 13 action was in order, plus the Interleague clash between Central Rivers and Sunraysia. J Mac delivered a timely Millewa footy update, while keeping the Cardross Lions premiership fire burning.     It was Diet Coke's all round for the team this week, well almost... The boys wrapped up all of last weekend's action in the Sunraysia Football Netball League and the Millewa Football League. J-Mac set Sammy another Cardross Lions assignment ahead of more stories doing the rounds about their Grand Final plans. Patty stuck his neck out and went for his Merbein Magpies in an attempt to close the gap on the tipping front. (And no, he is not lining up in the forward pocket this weekend against South).     J-Mac came in all guns blazing this week. From his revelation about Cardross locking in a band for Grand Final night in the Millewa Football League, to setting up Patty with a spot up forward at Compound Accounting Kenny Park with the mighty Magpies in the SFNL, he was certainly up and about! Sam on the other hand played a pretty straight bat, although he tried hard to defend a couple of his beloved Bulldogs who were rubbed out at the tribunal after the Round 11 clash with Imperials.
