Demonstrated God's love and justice. (Romans 5:8) 3. Defeated Satan's hold on humanity. (Colossians 2:15) The Significance of Jesus' DeJesus' death: 1. Provided forgiveness for our sins. (1 John 1:9) 2. Reconciled us to God. (2 Corinthians 5:18) 3. Offered eternal life through faith in Him. (John 3:36) Jesus' death was not just a historical event but a divine act of love.
