Film Reel BG Music - Moirai and Friends Medley

A short piece I composed for my film reel, based around some themes from past projects (mostly Moirai...ah I wish I got to film more of that *cries and falls into a hole*).

    Finally Present

I wish I could do it justice. It's a beautiful song.

  3. 14

    Shader Sandwich Medley

Track I worked on for a trailer for Shader Sandwich (an asset for Unity)...will actually get used once I can convince Unity to install again... Am kinda proud how I tied in the disparate motifs of Shader Sandwich (the tutorial music V1 and 2, the original trailer music, etc), plus the timeline of me programming it into one thing :P

    Claire's Theme (Moirai 2015)

    Claire's theme...good insight huh?

    Xavier's Theme (Moirai 2015)

One incarnation of Xavier's theme in Moirai.

  8. 9

    Theme Music (Moirai 2015)

Composed this as the intro for an indie episodic series - now in development hell so I figured I'd all the tracks I wrote :P. Only parts of the first of six episodes were ever filmed so I wasn't able to score much overall... Listen in reverse/at different speeds here! - https://whypenguins.com/Music

    Red Hero

A neat little story :) Lyrics There was a young weary traveler His shadow cast afar Against the cobblestone path he walked amongst By the blinding setting sun And he turned to the edge Of a cliff-side and he screamed Free at last he'd traveled far But from his quest it would seem There was no end to this for him This mortal coil, the pain he faced It finally settled in The knife in his stomach found its home No matter how hard he drove it into him The knife just laughed in glee And of the red he could not see And of the red he could not see The three wyrds, they had come to him When he had lacked a self They spun in circles, singing riddles He thought he could be a hero Undefeatable in battle Never mind the fear of death Eventually enough saved so For the binding to let go. But now a century or two have passed And the wear and tear of battles across his face Are only in his eyes Scars that heal and hide He knew he'd have to return ever receive his ending grace So while he was championed on He knew he'd fight anyway Please please Let this be the last one Let me be forgotten Nevermore, I be mentioned 'til the point of scourge and detest Save me from this fate I'd quietly go on I'd quietly be gone But of the red I can not see But of the red I can not see But of the red that will blind me

    Welcome To The Gates

Made this for school as well while inspired for an idea for a game I might make, turned out really well! :D :D. Hope you enjoy it! Also might actually use this one in a commercial product hence downloads disabled and whatnot, sorry :/.

    Futile Cycle

Made this (amongst many other things) for a course at school, had to fit certain requirements so there are some parts I'm not happy with but at the same time a part of me thinks it's the greatest thing ever so I don't know, also kind of don't like it since it wasn't made with any sort of point, but hey death of the author and whatnot, need more time to look at it objectively haha. But I think it's pretty and has some nice moments :), hope you enjoy!

    Some Electronic Rubbish

The entire reason I reactivated this account was so I could post this rubbish on Twitter XD. Just kind of a dump of conflicting feelings packaged in a muddled sound with awful composition.

  13. 4

    Free I Guess

A.K.A I tried finger picking and failed hard.

    The Programmer; INTERNAL_DATA - Soundtrack

Watch the short film here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1No_fzv2ek I highly recommend listening in reverse/at different speeds here! - https://whypenguins.com/Music - it sounds amazing in reverse slowed down :P Soundtrack to a short film I chucked together a while ago. Am pretty proud of how well it turned out actually, really pulled the film together.

  15. 2

    Stupid Box

Bad choice of release date XD. Oh and there's a bit of swearing in this one, no idea where to mark it as such though so Idk. I actually care about this song though, it's about as honest and vulnerable as I've ever been so please feel free to make fun of it haha.

    The Problems I Don't Have

A poor attempt at comedy XD
