In 2017, she embarked on a mission to use farm-based programs to help individuals "Learn + Grow + Heal" through the power of nature. Her vision gave rise to a care model centered around trauma-informed care, benefiting people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. The model aims to teach individuals how to care for themselves by learning to care for others. How the blessings, gifts, and skills God provided him turned into a 501(c)(3) with its mission to help reduce the risk of suicide. Heroes Below provides Active-Duty Military, Military Veterans, Active-Duty Law Enforcement, Law Enforcement Veterans, First Responders, their spouses and caregivers living with PTSD and TBI an innovative stress reduction and relaxation program through a unique underwater experience using SCUBA equipment in a heated indoor pool. The only cost for program participants is the time they want to spend blowing bubbles underwater.
