This episode delves into the fascinating and often misunderstood concept of how skill acquisition follows an exponential, rather than a linear, curve. We begin by demystifying the early stages of learning any new skill, which can be deceptively slow and challenging. Here, the focus is on understanding why initial progress seems minimal and how this slow phase is critical for laying a strong foundation for future growth. Next, we explore the turning point in the learning curve, where the accumulated efforts start to manifest as more rapid improvement. This part of the journey is crucial and exhilarating, as learners start to see tangible results from their persistence and hard work. The episode examines the psychological and practical aspects of navigating this phase, providing insights into how to recognize and maximize this period of accelerated learning. Finally, we discuss how to sustain and further develop skills once the exponential growth phase is reached. Emphasis is placed on the importance of continuous practice, lifelong learning, and adapting to plateaus that follow the rapid growth phase. The episode aims to equip listeners with a deeper understanding of the learning process and strategies to effectively navigate their own paths to mastery in any discipline, reinforcing the idea that patience and persistence are key to unlocking exponential growth in skill learning.

CURRENT THOUGHTS ON RUNNING MY BUSINESS AGAIN | EP 40
I have an internship at a startup currently. They are a Marketing Agency and I had the epiphany that everything they are doing is something that I can do myself. Everything from fulfillment, onboarding, to sales. I also realized that part of what's holding you back as an entrepreneur is your emotions. For me, this was the fear of rejection because I never wanted to cold call. Now, I am writing my business plan and deciding when I want to initiate my business. I already have my products, services, and pricing plans. The question is, what road do I want to take? Listen to hear how my thought process is and how far I THINK into the FUTURE!

GETTING INTO A PROGRAM I WAS NOT QUALIFIED FOR | COLLEGE ADVICE | EP 39
In today's episode, I will talk about why I was gone for two months. Recently, I applied for a program within my school of college and was accepted. This is an intensive program for consulting Fortune 500 companies in Marketing, which only 5-10 people were accepted. Some requirements were a 3.5 GPA and high ACT score (it was never disclosed what score you needed). However, my school of college (which is the business school) average ACT score is 27-29. I will walkthrough with you how I was able to get in. I also forgot to mention that there was an informational meeting and an interview. However, I never had an interview so perhaps it was luck. Additionally, I talk more about networking and how it is applicable to every job. Even if you're in Comp Sci, Nursing, or an Anthropologist, you still need to network. But beyond what everyone always said, I suggest you do personal projects which had helped me land the project!

OVERWHELMED WITH CHOICES? | EP 36
In this episode, I discussed my feelings of being overwhelmed with choices. I have the opportunity to go after events, outbound marketing, work on an e-commerce store, and so forth. There are about 13 things I have to do each day. And it is a lot. However, this is what hard feels like. I have to get used to it and understand that without these necessary components of business, I wouldn't make it when the real thing has begun. This is just a trial run. I was sitting in bed watching television throughout this period. Feeling like a failure. But it comes down to Nike's slogan. Just do it. If everything that needs to be done cannot be prioritized, as they are all important, just do one at a time.

CANCELING MY CLIENT | EP 35
In this episode, I want to share a personal experience that recently unfolded in my own journey. It was a challenging decision, but one that ultimately reaffirmed my commitment to the principles that drive my business. So, let's dive in. Picture this: you've been working with a client for a while, and initially, things seemed promising. However, as time went on, it became evident that the partnership wasn't living up to its potential. In my case, several factors contributed to this realization. Firstly, the client showed a lack of initiative when it came to their social media presence. Consistency and engagement are key in today's digital landscape, but my client struggled to maintain an active online presence. Months would go by without any significant updates or communication, which hindered the progress we could have achieved together. Secondly, there was a noticeable stall in their case's development. As a professional, it's crucial to maintain momentum and stay proactive, especially when dealing with marketing strategies. I found myself in a situation where, despite having a well-crafted marketing plan in place, we weren't moving forward as expected. This stagnation was detrimental to both parties involved. The tipping point came when I realized that these challenges weren't just hurdles to overcome but signs that the partnership might not be in the best interest of either party. It was then that I made the tough call to cancel our contracts. This decision wasn't made lightly, but it was an essential step in maintaining the integrity of my business. Through this experience, I've learned some invaluable lessons. First and foremost, it's crucial to remember that business isn't just about profit; it's about aligning yourself with clients who share your vision and dedication. Choosing who you do business with has a profound impact on your reputation and the quality of work you produce. The experience also highlighted the importance of being both firm and open-minded. While it might seem counterintuitive, being disagreeable when necessary is a part of maintaining the direction and focus of your business. It's about having the courage to stand up for what matters most. Lastly, this journey reinforced the concept of running your business at your own pace. Sometimes, external pressures can lead to decisions that aren't aligned with your long-term goals. Remember, success is a marathon, not a sprint. It's about finding the balance between progress and thoughtful decision-making. So, as we conclude this episode, I encourage all of you entrepreneurs out there to reflect on your own experiences. Have you faced similar decisions? What values drive your business choices? Remember, the road to success is paved with difficult choices, and the way you navigate them defines the legacy you leave behind.
