Silent Barrier

In the heart of London, wealthy young mining engineer Charles K. Spencer finds himself drawn into an unexpected adventure when he overhears a conversation between two young women. One is bound for Switzerland, and intrigued by the other’s aspirations as a writer for a scientific journal, he decides to step in as her fairy godfather, arranging for her to join the journey.
