Ep 085 - NPK Club - Sonar 2024 mixed by Ensō
Within Zen philosophy, ensō – 円相 – means a hand-drawn circle created by one uninterrupted stroke. No corrections are permissible as they would represent an after-thought destroying the directness of the original gesture. Not formal perfection but the authentic record of a personal expression counts as an aesthetic value. This does not mean that anything goes, though. On the contrary, it is about playing with the rules or boundaries of a given form without destroying its inner fabric; it is about giving in to feeling without surrendering to pure chance. Herein lies the artistic meaningfulness of ensō – finding a fulcrum between the spontaneity of intent and the discipline of execution, a meaning of finesse. Sounds like Loco Dice, Villalobos, Deetron, tINI or Martin Buttrich. Mix, deconstruct and reconstruct the tracks to add a personal touch to his sets. Born in Barcelona (Spain), the city where he still lives and works. His interest in electronic music started in the early 80s when he discovered the Chicago’s house music. His main influences from this period were Marshall Jefersson, Micker Oliver, Tyree, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tony Scott. Later on he get inspired by artists such as Pete Tong, Nic Fanciulli, Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Art Department, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, Matthias Tanzmann, Villalobos among others. Just as the music itself is continually evolving and changing, so does Daniel in his trajectory as a DJ. Nowadays, he sounds like Loco Dice, Villalobos, Deetron, tINI or Martin Buttrich. His club and deep house influences and particular manner of mixing them are not to be forgotten too.

Ep 076 - Guest Mix mixed by Ravine
Born and raised in Barcelona where in my youth I got in touch with electronic music. After a long stay in the beautiful city of Bremen, I returned to my hometown heavily influenced by the sounds of the nordic countries. After some time investigating the new local scene, I welcomed those artists in which I could feel a place. It was the summer of 2020 where I decided to start this project in order to mix the best of my past and coming influences.

Ep 075 - Guest Mix mixed by Roy B
Love, music and peace

Ep 067 - Sonica Showcase 03 Noviembre mixed by Yeste

And over time he developed his style and sound. His profile quickly started to grow as his sets found favour with his friends and peers. As things progressed, he moved into bigger parties, events and clubs. Andrew has a specific aura and identity about him that is incredibly magical, friendly and positive, and he likes to convey this to the public through his sets. The new album features carefully crafted arrangements whose combination of synthetic sounds and organic movements is reminiscent of cold-wave or electronica but ends up in an entirely new place. The beats and dynamics are inspired by the Earth energy, but added to them is a surprising and sometimes melancholic songs. Ep 053 - Guest Mix mixed by Ensō
